Scene redraw!! I cannot tell you how many times I redrew Grian's eyes. And then they still look horrendous. I really should stop drawing for five hours straight.

Grian just got the whole group in trouble (as in canon), but probably for a different prank.

I decided to switch Gem and Cleo's roles from what I assigned them in the last post, as well as Impulse and Jimmy. I can confirm that Etho, Martyn and Joel will also be operatives, and possibly Lizzie and BigB.

I'm also thinking that there will be a few more reacccuring side characters and connections between those characters and VILE operatives than in the show. Imp and Skizz know each other somehow/meet in fights several times, maybe have to help each other out. Also Etho probably has to 'deal' with Bdubs at some point but hesitates or stubbonly just tries to complete the caper without hurting him too bad. Slighly jealous teammate Joel decides to get rid of 'Dubs himself.

Presenting Carmen Sandiego Hermit AU!

I've figured out a bunch of the roles, but I'm not 100% on all of them (I'm looking to change Impulse's role and possibly some of the faculty), so feel free to make suggestions!

Ok ok so Grian takes Carmen's position in the AU, following a similar sort of story. After seeing how far VILE is willing to go, he defects, going on to meet Skizz and Pearl (self-adopted siblings) and fighting against VILE, much to the dismay of the faculty (and Scar). Etc etc etc

Just realised I forgot about a couple other main-ish characters... I plan to assign Doc to Chase Devineaux, Ren to Julia, and Xisuma as Chief.

As for other VILE members/classmates, I won't assign to a counterpart to the actual show, but they will include

I finally finished the shift at midnight stream, and I need fics! I need them now and I need them fast, okay. Like tell me there is not so much potential to do some funny horror action stuff with that.

let me set the stage:

gem: graduate student at the local university she is working as a manager to pay the bills, only does it cause she gets to decorate and likes her coworkers(impulse). Is a badass but would rather cottage core

Impulse: LOVES his job at the gas station janitor, maybe because it saved him from a rough past? He is the oldest of the gang and therefore is like a grouch of a grandpa that yells at people for being trouble makers specifically Skizz

Skizz: around Gems age, maybe younger maybe a bit older. Kinda wandering through life doesn’t really have a purpose, however he loves cars and basically refuses to tel anyone do the gas pump but him. He also does it to try and impress Grian who he looks up to. Grian: fresh army or NET veteran who knows his way around weapons and finding doppelgängers. However, bros got some bad PTSD and that tends to hinder his work. He has to work because of his cat and after bringing her in or something the others agree to help him raise money.(originally I was thinking Grian was new and had to get to know the others, but you know it’s and IDEA)

of course I could see them following a similar path to the stream and then having more lore about everything and tying up some loose ends of the game. It’s would basically be an amazing found family fic and lowkey I be needing that right now.
