Ewa continues to practice her Art. Her paintings are now selling for decent money, so she gets to do this rather than help out with the shop crops and goats most of the time

are these freetime chancecards doing anything for you? i feel like they need to be included but they're so boring they kinda offend me lol

The coworker Oorun brings home is actually the postman. He's called Marcel Darga.

As this means he's become Known to a playable (whether i like it or not), we might see more of him going forward. so I rolled traits and orientation for him.

well, enough of that. it's birthday time (again) !

Adie grows up extremely pretty looking but in a way that also gives snooty mean kid. if you know what i mean. she looks like she's about to tease someone for being an orphan. she's not though, i think.

She definitely shares a fave color with her big sis anyway

The Man came (from the distant future in his space mobile) and took the pets away :( most of the pets in this hood are fed by sun&moon's au naturel pet food, but idk sometimes they just refuse to eat the things they've killed and i didn't realize in time

Oh look, it seems like there's a Republican-led movement to purge voter rolls in the lead-up to the election! It's almost as if your vote matters and they don't want you to vote! Anyway, I whipped up a quick map (based on this) that shows when the voter registration deadline is in each state. There are a few deadlines coming up in the next week or so.

If you live in a state that regularly purges voter rolls for infrequent voters (the orange ones in the first map), or if you moved recently, it's good to check if you're still registered to vote.

Vote.org makes it super easy to check your registration: https://www.vote.org/am-i-registered-to-vote/

Just put in your address and DOB and they'll tell you whether you're registered. (And they give you a quick link to register online if it turns out that you're not! Only the 9 states in white on my map don't have online registration, and for those they provide instructions on how to do it via mail or in person.)

So yeah, give yourself peace of mind -- do a quick check. :)

This is all autonomous. I've noticed that Oorun's autonomous interactions toward Yana are all very wholesome and gentlemanly, while Yana favors the goosing and squeezing

Akoko family in the evening. Y'all know how I feel about having to deal with two toddlers at once, but by now Pataki has learned his toddler skills and is pretty independent, which makes a huge difference to me

The boys are fairly outgoing, and each brought a girl home from school. I mean I think Oraora and Bierdna just snuck out, they don't go to school

Over at the Akoko household, it's confession time.

Apparently I'd cut the Akoko segment of last round short by like, 3 in-game days, because of that horrible pink flashing soup nightmare that I just couldn't solve. I don't remember deciding to do that... I think I just tried to switch to the next household in the hope of fixing things and meant to switch right back but forgot.

So to catch up to the rest of the hood's timeline, we'll be playing approximately 7 days here instead of the usual five. Mea maxima culpa et cetera. Anyway

the goats have multiplied

Suyana still spends her days at home with the goats, the grain field and the younger kids

And obviously she can't be everywhere at once. Little Pataki is learning to do some things all by himself, like escaping from nap time.

The lady cat grew old

Oorun is very hands-on parent when he's home from his entertainment job

And fortunately the oldest kids are pretty independent. Their parents would have preferred if they helped out around the house more though.

Emperor Harikoa visits his plebeian buddy. As ya do. I imagine Oorun entertains at the palace so. Also They've been buds since forever and are brothers in law

Wakin is well enough today to come with T'ika on her daily excursion. This morning the destination is the public bath house, where they're supposed to have to go to because their class isn't supposed to have a tub at home. but truth be told i've been keeping the green stench clouds away with water buckets from the well (thank you sun&moon!) hey if the rules meant i couldn't green the hygiene bar at home at all it shoulda bloody said as much

and T'ika's not having much more luck befriending Ulli Vuosttamus either. Oh well.

And the pets have taken their Throne. One thing I actually think Sims 4 does better (gasp!) is 'pet hanging out'-animations. Mutia and Sky specifically are such drama makers but have a bed on the lot and they'll turn themselves into part-time statues of themselves. it's weird
