ladies and gentlemen, I give you The Murphy Siblings
Reblog if you believe in Mike Faist like he believes in Tinkerbell.
My heart says yes but my vocal range says no
In my defense, your honor, I really am the dumbest bitch alive
Just about every joke in Avatar: The Last Airbender is peak comedy but conceptually my favorite moment is that scene in The Waterbending Scroll where Zuko’s crew was fighting some pirates and Aang was lost in the middle of a smoke cloud.
Now, Aang being an Airbender, the logical thing to do would be to blow the smoke away, which he does.
This would be funny enough in and of itself, but what really gets me is that Aang just nopes his way out of the situation by… Calling the smoke back?
Like on top of this being the literal only instance of an aerokinetic character blowing smoke away in reverse (not the same thing as kicking up a cloud of dust) just… everyone who was fighting just goes back to fighting each other like that didn’t just happen? Like they didn’t just see the Avatar- who they’re fighting over- is no longer tied up?
This five seconds of animation is just the most beautifully hilarious mess.

Main sources of villainy in Les Mis:
bourgeoisie
capitalism
patriarchy
abuse of law
corrupt government
corrupt people in power
When explaining why Les Mis is still relevant in a modern society:
read the previous list
realise that at the very base of things not much has actually changed
accept that the underlying messages are still very much relevant
be afraid and very, very angry
Important Information For My Guise & NB People Who Bind
Excellent advice! Passing it along~
In case y'all didn’t know.

I LOVE THIS
Anderson Cooper speaks to Texas State Representative Bryan Hughes, Republican Party.
Yaaaaaaaas Anderson
By the way, THIS is unbiased reporting. Anderson Cooper is doing nothing but presenting the *facts* that are backed up by multiple reputable organizations. He points out the *fact* that doctors are not evenly split on this and that pretending otherwise is disingenuous. He is providing facts to the audience and to this Republican who clearly has not done his homework.
Smack that disgusting fecking grin off his evil face.
petition to make Infinity War just Shuri and Peter being milllennials
Iike
> all the vine references
> eg. everytime they catch a snippet of conversation they repeat it in the same tone as “omg they were room mates” or Peter choosing Chilis for dinner just so he can here the hostess greet them
> everytime someone says something stupid they look up at Friday like theyre on the office
> everytime Bucky stands up for Steve, Shuri yells CANON (thor drops to the ground)
> making hundreds of shrek jokes at Bruce
> evverytime they walk by each other they just ‘yeET’
Both of them yelling “Can I PLEASE get a waffle?!” during every single battle.
Wonder Woman made women everywhere feel so strong so brave so powerful.
Coco made latino/mexican people feel the elation of their visually stunning arts being shown, feel extra proud of their traditions, feel cherished
Black Panther made black people from every culture every continent feel such pride such happiness such warmth.
Love, Simon has made lgbt+ people from the youngest to the old feel understood feel overjoyed feel magic.
It’s more than just a movie.
Don’t feel bad if you’re sensitive to negative feedback because apparently after one particular bad review Hans Christian Andersen was found just sobbing while lying face down in the dirt
YOU LEFT OUT THE BEST PART THOUGH! HE WAS CRYING FACE DOWN IN THE DIRT IN CHARLES DICKENSEN´S YARD!!
WHERE HE HAD BEEN STAYING FOR WEEKS, LONG OVERSTAYING HIS WELCOME, AND WAS ANNOYING THE FUCK OUT OF DICKENS
Mike Faist’s Goodbye Gift
So as we know the wonderful Mike Faist is the founder of Ohio Artists Gathering — “one week festival brings together New York City professional playwrights, producers, directors, choreographers and actors with young Ohio theatre students, artists and creatives.” (From the Ohio Artists Gathering website)
He’s very proud of it and it’s incredibly brilliant.
They just had a fundraiser for it March 16th, and a lot of us donated money through texts if we couldn’t physically be there.
So I run the M_FaistFans account on Twitter. For a while I’ve been wondering what exactly to do for Mike as a goodbye gift from fans. Then the fundraiser happened and something clicked. I feel like this is the absolute best idea and I think he’d appreciate it a lot. We don’t actually know when Mike leaves, just that it’s in May. But I think that gives us a considerable amount of time to make a fair amount of donations to his project.
Soooooo
Donate, I guess! And then message me here or on Twitter about how much and proof that you did so I can keep count. I’ll probably send Mike a bouquet of flowers with the amount written on a note or something.
Or donate through the website: https://ohioartistsgathering.com
Thanks, folks!
Why in the word would you need a license just to braid hair?
Braiding hair is a part of black culture lmao. Doing other black women’s natural hair period is a part of our culture?? We don’t need a license it’s in our roots….this is extremely anti black.
They don’t even teach how to do black hair in most hair schools anyway, why get a license from a school that doesn’t even teach you about braiding anyway??
This is a way to target black business owners, smh
my hair stylist actually told me that in cosmetology schools, they are not taught how to do natural hair. there is no way to get a license doing natural hair in many places because curriculum do not even teach them. like, natural hair isn’t taught in these schools. so black women have to learn from their mothers, grand mothers, aunts, etc…etc…it’s a culture. so yeah, this is to target black business owners.
^^^^
Reminds me of this article I saw once. Said in Texas you need, like, 3 months training+Licence+Yearly Certification to become a hairdresser in TX. But you can get a gun In, like, 30 minutes at Walmart.
