6: fingers kiss

Eric knew, he knew it was madness to fall in love with the queen of another country, especially when she was married to a king like Hans. A stern and manipulative ruler that could send off an army big enough to destroy his kingdom in a snap of his fingers. A man who wouldn’t even think twice.

It was  m a d n e s s, but Eric couldn’t fight it.

He carefully took her hand as she bypassed him, tugging her closer to himself and making sure no one would see them. Even Anna didn’t know that what he felt for her might be more than just their forbidden friendship. “What about that walk along the beach now, milady?” he playfully brought her hand to his lips and kissed her fingers.

               -{♕}-  She was looking for Eric. The idea of their forbidden friendship excited her, but it wasn’t just the excitement that made her seek him out. It was also.. simply him. He was interesting and fun and it had been so long since Anna had had someone interesting and fun to speak to in such a way. So long since she had someone she wanted to visit with, other than the servants and maids who would avoid eye contact with her out of fear of encountering Hans’ wrath. 

               When the man she looked for grabbed her hand, tugged her in and placed a soft kiss to her fingers—her freckled cheeks warmed up as a grin crossed her lips. “I think now would be the perfect time..” she said softly, with a little giggle in her voice.
