Hello! I’m new to the fandom, and I have to say I loooove Landot! I’ve been looking at fanart and doujins on Pixiv, and I find it really cute how so many fans share similar dynamics and headcanons. For example:
• Lance always falls first, lol
• Dot realizes his feelings later because he’s dense and an idiot (I love him)
• Sometimes Dot wants to break up before graduation because he thinks Lance deserves better, while Lance is already thinking about marriage (they do end up married or living together as adults)
• Lance uses “ai shiteru” a lot, which really surprised me, since it’s deeper and less commonly used than “suki” or “daisuki”. I’m not sure if fans see him that way because of chapter 122 (which would make his romantic feelings deeper) or if it’s just because Lance has a really intense way of expressing love, lol (see Anna).
What do you think? Do you share any of these headcanons? Sorry for the length of my message—I just love Landot so much.

oh, lance one HUNDRED percent falls first. every time. in my mind, dot is just REALLY dumb and doesn’t realize that his feelings towards men is the same as towards women, so he’s bi but fully just thinks he’s straight for a WHILE. eventually though someone, somehow, knocked enough sense into him and he figured it out, and then went “but wait. if i feel so strongly like this about LANCE, then…. no. no.” and has a crisis realizing oh my god he’s in love with lance, all the while lance has just been quietly in love with dot for months, probably
dot my beautiful insecure boy. genuinely thinks and believes he’s not good enough for lance, meanwhile lance is deciding what kind of ring would look the best. if dot DOES successfully break up with lance, it’d only be because he didn’t actually TELL lance why he wanted to break up, and it frustrated lance enough to agree. they’re both miserable until they get back together. it’s more likely though that before dot can work up the nerve to do it (considering he’d REALLY rather not leave the love of his life) he already ends up with a ring on his finger and goes “oh. he actually wants me.”
lance loves SO deeply. i think about this a lot, actually. i believe that all of the main 5 love so so intensely. lance is obsessive, lemon is MORE obsessive, dot cares SO MUCH about EVERYTHING, finn has just the biggest heart ever, and mash, albeit quieter than the others, loves things so so strongly. 122 is a very evident display of how powerfully lance feels that love. you don’t say something like what he said casually. you say it with your whole heart. and that’s what he did.
