Let go of your ghosts.

Text: Spooky Fat Babe Drawing: Ambivalently Yours)
The most important thing you can do in your life is to take care of yourself. While it sounds selfish, it’s truly selfless. You see, you’re not any good for anyone unless you do. Including you.
habitualsleeplessness (via wordsnquotes)
You’re important to me. I think if there’s anything that will last forever, it’s that. Whether we separate, stay in touch or rarely speak again, you will always be that little someone I really do care for, that I would sacrifice everything for to protect and keep safe.
Beau Taplin, The Promise (via thelovejournals)
It was a world full of feelings that I didn’t have words for yet.

i am constantly sad but whenever i see people who are sad, i make them happy. i wonder when would there be someone who would make me happy whenever i feel down.
please make me happy too // p.k. (via wordsnquotes)
We’ve wasted so many chances, until we’ve realized that it’s already too late, for the both of us.

Not all toxic people are cruel and uncaring. Some of them love us dearly. Many of them have good intentions. Most are toxic to our being simply because their needs and way of existing in the world force us to compromise ourselves and our happiness. They aren’t inherently bad people, but they aren’t the right people for us. And as hard as it is, we have to let them go. Life is hard enough without being around people who bring you down, and as much as you care, you can’t destroy yourself for the sake of someone else. You have to make your wellbeing a priority. Whether that means breaking up with someone you care about, loving a family member from a distance, letting go of a friend, or removing yourself from a situation that feels painful — you have every right to leave and create a safer space for yourself.
Daniell Koepke (via wordsnquotes)
My darling, I hope you know how careful I have been not to fall in love with someone who is not exactly you. I’ve spent every cold, lonely night trying to stay warm without you, but it simply does not work. It’s not that the heater has broken or that the covers aren’t thick enough… It’s that my skin is not touching your skin and my hand is not laced in your hand. And I could fill my bed with strangers, but still I would be freezing because they could not care for the fragile flames of my soul like you could. So please, come soon my love. Come soon for I am freezing.

I can’t hold enough of you in my hands.
Franz Kafka, Letters to Milena (via wordsnquotes)
I knew that what was left of me would always love you, but never in quite the same way.
F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Beautiful and Damned (via wordsnquotes)
I hope you find someone you can’t live without. I really do. And I hope you never have to know what it’s like to have to try and live without them.
Kiera Cass, The Selection (via wordsnquotes)
I love it when people tell me about me because I have no idea who I am
I hope that one day you can see it: the way your smile is infectious. How when you walk into a room everyone feels lighter. That the way you love rain is how people wish they could love one another. I wish you could see it – how you are so much more than beautiful.

All my life I’ve thought I needed someone to complete me, now I know I need to belong to myself.
