Been havin’ the idea of a Ghoap Detective AU for a while now. Even wrote a fic about it.

In my fic Soap is married but separated cuz obviously he doesn’t swing that way so he’s technically not cheating. But they stay together for the kids and Soap leaves their house to her and the kids so he has to sleep in the car when she has her new boyfriend over and his new DI who was transferred from Manchester to Scotland (due to an incident he won’t talk about) thinks he’s a cheating prick but then he finds out just how kind and hardworking Soap is and and they solve a case and it’s enemies to lovers and it’s-
