Thought from last night:

Angel/eldritch beings derived from the deceased, but they metamorphosize like insects. Those in coffins and caskets are like butterflies in a chrysalis. The ones in masoleum walls are similar to hornet larvae in a nest. The ones buried without a casing crawling out of the dirt like cicadas and leaving behind a rigid husk. I'm sure there's other things, but those are what I remembered.

The bumblebee catfish who was presumed dead last summer, who has not been seen for MONTHS, and was not removed from the tank when it was fully cleaned (as it was presumed dead) has reappeared out of nowhere.
