basically I’m dropping out of OCtober as like, 15 kids between the ages of 11 and 15 have chosen me as their role model and this plus school now takes up 95% of my time and all my remaining creative juices have been going towards writing sooo

OCtober Day 4: Redesigned OC

Meet Monica Bloom! Another TMNT2012 (and 2018) oc!

she’s from the same story as Echo and is actually her student/adoptive little sister character, depending on the version. She’s actually an alternate version of that little girl from that one episode where Leo has to have tea time with this little girl and he becomes Mr. Turtle and drinks tea and basically her but she becomes a mutant. In the OG version Echo used to babysit her and so her dad let her stay with Echo cause he didn’t know what to do. That’s only for the first design though I switched it later

She was really bratty in the first iteration but that got annoying so in the revamp she’s still bratty but without that rich kid snide and less social prejudice. She also thinks Casey Jones is like the coolest person ever but big sissy doesn’t like him ;-;

in the 2018 version she’s a bit older and also has a completely different personality (as per usual). She’s kinda closer to 2012 Raph personality wise, and Echo comes across her and pulls a “you’re my friend, we’re having soft tacos later!” Which she despised vehemently

also there’s Mr. Mauve the little fox that Moni was holding when she got mutated (she was wearing a purple wool sweater lol) he’s a little guy we love him

OCtober Day 4: Under Appreciated OC

Meet Venus!

She’s another Lego Monkie Kid OC. I’ve never actually drawn her before, and she maybe has three full sentences and she deserves so much more omg

She’s a semi-famous demon/bounty hunter and she ends up meeting MK and Mei while they’re with Macaque and they’re absolutely obsessed with her cause she’s a badass lol. Macaque can see this being a train wreck from a mile away.

So there’s a sketch and some quick doodles I made while in Spanish class and thinking about it

OC-tober Day 3: Old OC

meet my baby Echo:

She did end up getting a revamp down the line a little bit so she's one of the more fleshed out of my old OC's so I like her a lot.

Echo is a TMNT2012 OC who is hiding from the Purple Dragon's cause of gang violence, witness protection and all that, and she ends up staying with the turtles, and thus her story begins.

Her main story growth thing though is that she ends up staying in the city when the Kraang invade and she saves a bunch of people from some... alien gas??? it's been a long time and I don't intend to rewatch the show I've watched it thrice already my little mind has had enough (for now. give it a couple of years) but she ends up messing her lungs up REALLY bad so she has a Larynx Prosthesis to talk, which is really sad cause she wanted to be a singer and stuff. But she grows and learns and all the good stuff and she's just kinda awesome.

She had a mutant form thing like Karai in the original version and I was plotting out hers in the revamp but then lost interest so I might go back and do that one day. No promises though lol.

I messed up the first drawing a bit lol. She’s got this little nose scrunch thing she does and I just ended up making it look weird but oh well. Also messed up the hairline eheh

Prompt 2: New OC

Now Ive already done some art of him, but that's when he's in his spooky form so I thought I'd show his usual form.

And he has a name now! It's 雪辰 (Xuěchén), though he also has the English name Juniper. He's the sister of 雪丽 (Xuělì), aka Julie, who when I last posted about her had named Huangling buuuut that didn't stick so here we are.

He's an original OC for a story i probably wont ever write but the lore in my head is craaazy man ill have to show you guys sometime

So here's Day 1: Favorite OC

While I don't really draw her a lot, I think out of my favorite OC's she's the one I like to write the most. She has like, 7k words dedicated to her that I could find without really looking, and she's just a sweetheart. A very anxious sweetheart who is scared to buy things and somehow just... knows everyone's birthday.

She's a Lego Monkie Kid OC, she's an unemployed nurse and she acts as the medic for the Krew.

THEYRE HERE

I present to you some sketches of my new children >=D

meet Ensley and Huanglíng

ok so for some background I was bored so I went on Etsy and rolled dice to pick stuff from my collections for prompts for each character and this is what I got for each of them:

(I’ll add what they are and what shops they’re from at the end)

now ensley doesn’t have all her prompts just yet still trying to figure out where the crystals and the sword come in but we’ll get there

But long story short my girl Ensley is a traveler who for some reason half of her is possessed by a demon, a ghost, and angel for some reason and is just kinda living her life, but her supernatural side is basically a magnet for all other things supernatural.

Which is where Huanglíng comes in cause she’s a Pixiu Shapeshifter who hunts monsters and dark entities (a pixiu is from Chinese Mythology, it’s a mix between a dragon and a lion and it’s usually associated with gaining and retaining wealth, but it’s also said that in general the females ward off evil. I need to do more research into it but that’s what I know this far) she just wants to read books but instead she has to deal with this girl who someway somehow has 3 entities inside her that should not be getting along

still lots of stuff to work on but I’m definitely going to be drawing them a lot so I thought I’d introduce them =)

also Ensley has a little wyvern friend (ignore that it says wyrm I meant wyvern)
