loud warning
Rolling on the floor sobbing and crying and losing my mind at “GET INSIDE THE VAAAAAAAAAAN”

I see no downside to this.
[Img id: a Twitter post by Rob N Roll @ thegallowboob reading “a TikTok was circulating claiming that turmeric powder baths help remove fleas and people tried it. turns out it does work but it also dyes your cat yellow.” And a responding post by Charlie @ Charlie_RFC reading “Size of the bees this year” ]
I will not elaborate.
@sergle is correct
I remember when I was younger, anytime I watched a movie where the characters have to kill a scary monster/alien, I always thought the act of killing it was intended to be part of the horror. Like there’s this amazing creature that we’ve never seen before, and maybe under different circumstances we could’ve coexisted with it, but it’s trying to attack you and you have to defend yourself, but by destroying it you also destroy the ability to ever understand it and that’s sad and is supposed to make you feel conflicted.
It was not until well into my adulthood that I realized most people do not have complicated feelings about movies where people have to kill a scary alien monster, nor is that necessarily meant to be part of the narrative (unless it very obviously is). They just want the scary thing to die because it’s scary. I don’t have a real conclusion to this I just started thinking about it for some reason.

@bettsplendens i'd just like you to know that this is my favorite comment on this post and i'd like it to be memorialized
I want to see more polyamory pride this pride month i'm serious. Stop being weird about people with multiple partners polyamory is awesome and beautiful and queer
You are an unreliable narrator because your coping mechanisms for your deep-seated trauma forbid you from acknowledging the reality of the situation. I am an unreliable narrator because I sincerely have no idea what the fuck is going on.
@funnier-as-a-system
but do you play shorter games with worse graphics made by people who are paid more to work less 🤨
the thing about "I want shorter games with worse graphics made by people who are paid more to work less and I'm not kidding" is that these games exist and are out there and you have to make the conscious choice to seek them out instead of just expecting the big companies to deliver this, because they will not
addendum
”But why do you need Pride Month?”
I remember my parents and their friends and family always taking opportunities to say homophobic stuff, especially when schools teaching about the LGBTQ was brought up. My parents would make me skip school on IDOHOBIT day and if the school was doing an event for pride month.
But there were days when my class taught about it, and it gave me a jumping point for when I eventually did my own research.
everyone get weirder NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone needs to be a little FREAK. it would save the world
i have NOT been paying attention to mlp.
is there still one that's like. actively going and good? i feel like there's too much stuff i dont know about for the fact i thought i only stopped like a season and a half from where FiM ended. did it get renewed somehow?? i thought they were doing a new gen and it was like. aimed more at exclusively kids or something
is there a knockoff sunset shimmer now. you cant lie to me i KNOW the one in equestria girls was named sunset shimmer and not starlight glimmer. wasn't filing the serial numbers off twilight's name once enough? you had to file off the new serial numbers you put on? and worse? (this is a joke)
why is trixie here?
get trixie out of here this isn't a question i don't like her get her out
Tumblr actively hunts down and deletes legit trans womens blogs as a policy but encourages and cultivates porn bots that use stolen trans sex worker's content. This is propaganda and affects how we're viewed by other users, makes our own tags unusable for us, is unfathomably transmisogynistic, and reveals a lot about how staff views us. Our bodies are a commodity that they want on their website, but our words are not welcome.
i really like this thing where websites will have separate "log in" & "sign up" buttons and if you click "log in" it takes you to a sign-up screen anyway so you have to click "i already have an account" and then it will ask if you want to sign in with your facebook account or with instagram or linkedin or deviantart or whatever, and if you choose "username & password" it asks if you want to put in your username or use your thumbprint, and once you put your username & password it emails you a confirmation code, and once you put in the code it says "do you want to give us your phone number for future sign-ins? do you want to sign up for facial recognition? do you want to give us your bones? give us your fucking bones?
websites prior to like the 2010s: sign in with your username and password
websites now:
happy pride month
remember that pride is still a protest
don't look in the reblogs. don't look in the replies. do not learn the horrors of escalators. it's fine. you don't need to know. you'll never feel safe on an escalator again. i haven't even looked in there and i know they're, i know because i Know About Escalators and so do other people on this webbed site.
i don't like Knowing About Escalators
getting banned over a glitched report that was never actually filed, only to be unbanned out if nowhere 3 months later and then immediately banned again within a matter of hours, is honestly the most pjackk thing to ever happen to someone on this site
