His tail suddenly popped out of the dirt and struck down on him. Slapping the top of his head. He made a odd noise leaving his tail out of the ground swaying it at the Voidborn. A electrical current zapped through the tip of the stinger as it remained pointed at him.

The Voidborn gasped as he was slapped on the head by the large crystalline tail, backing off as he would spot the tail sticking up, and putting some pieces together after realizing who it could’ve been… “O-Oh dear me! Skarner, is that you? I am so terribly sorry if I injured you!” he exclaimed, looking down at all the crystals before him. “A-Are you okay?”

His head popped up from the soil. "Ah.. No you didn't do damage, You scared me Vel. I'm not used to seeing void creatures be friendly often." He climbed out of the hole he had made shaking the dirt off. "Well, you can take that piece you were cutting. Its going to fall off sooner or later."

"Perhaps it would be time for me to wander since I had just come out of a slumber.." He was talking to himself lying on his stomach as his tail swished above him. Claws snipping at the grass which he layed on.

“Hm-hmhm-hmmm… oh dear me, look at this crystal formation!” Vel’Koz spoke with intrigue as he spotted the rows of crystals sticking out of the dirt where Skarner had hid himself. He had, naturally, no clue that it was in fact the Brackern who had hidden himself from the Voidborn, but Vel was none the less intrigued and desiring to harvest some of the shards. “I do hope no one minds if I cut off a few… these could provide insight to some experiment later down the road, perhaps…” and so, his tendril sizzling with electric currents, he proceeded to zap one of the crystals to see if he’d be able to cut it off with the super-heated bolt.

He stared up at the floating eye. Remaining still as he observed it. This was making him extremely uncomfortable. He decided to do the best thing possible. His claws grabbed some dirt and tossed it over his body along with his tail. He buried himself into the ground. Only a few crystals on his back remained sticking out of the dirt.

Taric raised his shield instantly as his eyes burned brightly. “YOU SHALL NOT-” Taric calmed down as he shook his head “Sorry.” He sighed tapping the shield against his shoulder. “I was surprised. Where have you been?”

Taric tapped his chin. “Do you require some help? I have some tools that probably wouldn’t damage you but can easily remove that old shell of yours. Since you’re made of gemstones it should be easy enough.” The knight smiled with a forced warm smile as he searched for a hammer and chisel with his eyes. “If not then I’ll let it be.”

“If that will save me from this itching sensation across my body please do.” He scuttled a bit closer to Taric. “Though we can’t do this all the time okay? It might cause some side effects..”

He stares, well to be short he was uncomfortable with the giant hole gaping in front of him and the frequent noises. He gave a few steps away trying to avoid making too much tapping noises as he walked.

The noises stared to get louder and seem like, however was making it was approaching. Rek’Sai could hear something near the entrance of the tunnel but couldn’t be sure of what or who it was. Suddently, two huge paws came from the dark whole, being placed on both sides of the edge before pulling the voidling. She growled.

She continue to click, moving her head to one side of the other, now that he had turned and there was no more movement on the ground she was rather blind. She took a step foward, sniffing and trying to detectate how big and how worth was the prey. After all, she wouldn’t hunt just any weakling creature that wouldn’t satisfy her hunger, would she?

He remained silent, his tail raising a bit higher. He was ready if it was required, but it lowered again as he realized she wouldn’t see him. He lowered his claws watching her, well this is about the closet he has gotten to a void creature. He usually strayed away from them. His head tilted as he watched her sniff around. Well, now what was he going to do? He was stuck there until she wandered off and he could scuttle away to safety.

He froze turning around to face her. He claws raised in defense, It was a habit when things made intimidating noises at him. He made a chittering noise at her by clacking his crystalline teeth together. Scuttling back he tried to increase the range between them, not caring if he was making noise now. His tail lifted as he remained still staring at her waiting.

“Of course.” The knight forced a smile. “I am a very busy person after all. I need to keep at the forge else I won’t survive here.” Taric sighed looking at the ceiling. “So what are you up to now that you’re awake again.

“I’ve been trying to break out of this old shell I have.” He tapped his cracked crystalline skeleton “It’s too damaged so I have to dispose of it..” He plopped down to the floor on his stomach as if he were sitting in front of Taric. Staring up at him, he was slightly worried for him but the emotion wasn't on his face.

“Decent.” That was a lie but he wasn’t going to explain his troubles to Skarner. The knight folded his arms against his chest as he forced a smile at the other. “Well I’m glad to talk to you again. Hope you’re feeling well enough to be doing things. From now on you have to travel to Noxus to meet up with me.”

“Noxus?” He tilted his head a little “Did you move when I was sleeping?”  He didn’t think Taric of the type to be in Noxus.. “Are you sure you’re okay my friend? You seem more tired than you are.. Working hard hm?”

“I went into a small hibernation” His small legs tapped at the floor as he backed away a little lowering his tail. “...get a little sleepy in the spring.” There was still dirt stuck between the cracks in his crystals. “How have you been doing Taric..?”

"...." His tail pointed at the blade lodged into the top of his body. "If you could lend a scorpion a hand. I cant reach it..."

 He quirks a brow. How’d that get there, anyways? Then, of course, there was the matter of the creature itself to question. A giant, talking, gem-like scorpion it seemed. His thoughts essentially consisted of a ‘what the fuck’ reaction and it truly showed on his face.

  The blade looked nice though, from what he could see sticking out of the beast’s back. He was reluctant to actually approach Skarner, but did so, reaching to remove the blade with relative care in comparison to the way he’d typically rip a blade out of a corpse or those quite soon to be. Who knows, maybe the weapon was the fragile ornamental-like kind? Gotta make sure the blade has the highest possibility of remaining top-quality, of course.

    “Yeah, no prob-” he jumps slightly at the sudden close movement of the deadly tail, slowly relaxing again after Skarner had moved. "Right."  He looks the scorpion over again with interest. A strange creature indeed.

 ”Heh, yeah I could imagine such a reaction being common.” He nearly resorted to something the same a second ago. Scorpions were generally labeled ‘danger’. His gaze now checking out the dagger, he introduces himself. “The name’s Talon by the way. Don’t suppose you have a name, do you?”

 Seeming to like the weapon well enough he tucked it away about his person.

"Skarner" He lowered his tail noticing that it was startling him. "Talon huh.. I guess the name suits you considering almost 95% of your body is covered in blades.."

As he felt the blade be removed he made a very joyful sound. It did cause quite discomfort to his back. "Thank you." He said as his tail waggled side to side. ".. Did I startle you..? Pardon me." He scuttled back a little staring at the assassin "Feel free to keep that. Just don't stick it back in, some man got mad at me popping up from the ground and decided to jab me."
