What’s funny is that, by doing this, they’re proving two things true.

1: That most firearms legislation is built entirely on arbitrary points, and is left to a state of vague-ness where you can easily rack up points just through other means. By this system, you can easily check mark several normal pistols as “SBR’s” just because you dared to put them over a certain weight or use certain equipment. It’s meaningless, even to the most non-gun person possible this is meaningless jargon stacked on.

2: It’s vagueness incriminates MILLIONS in the stroke of a pen. It takes an issue that was only born out of a disgust with how complex NFA regulations were and has blown it up to a scale that will be untenable. There is no way, no fucking way that any agency of the American government can enforce, control or do anything with legislation this disjointed. It will be a battle that will make Prohibition and the War on Drugs look clean in comparison.

Either they dial it back and join the rest of the Biden Administration government and be useless and non-existent in the main light, or they prepare. Because with Waco, they got lucky that it was just “some religious extremists”. The second you start torching up neighbors over braces, you’re going to have HELL to pay.
