I'm not sure how to collate my thoughts about Jax. But now we have confirmation from Goose that Jax is trans, I want to get this specific thought off my chest.

You ever think about how Jax told two women that they were trans. And then, from Jax's perspective, both women then died as a result? How do you forgive yourself for doing something like that? Hell, given that those deaths were partially caused by her transness, for BEING something like that?

It's no wonder she hurts the people around her. She has an element of herself (being trans) that she feels is innately harmful to the people around her and not fixable. If she wants to stop hurting them... that's the same as her not being here. So she might as well enjoy hurting them!

This is not a justification for Jax's actions. However, not abstracting for as long as she did must have taken real effort. She's using 6 unhealthy coping mechanisms at all times just to stay alive for another day. Getting to a point where she could grow past those experiences seems almost impossible. And I REALLY wish she could have.
