After before The road peaked near a monument, or just a strange construct to mark a small, from a first sight not important peak. Walking on the edge The road on the edge of the border between #Georgia and #Azerbaijan continued to a picturesque small Chapel with many people around it, just sitting and observing this magnificence. The best part of it was that the Georgian side seemed to be green and the Azerbaijan side looked golden yellow. A natural border I was stunned by what I saw. I was expecting more mountains, but instead, I saw a desert near a cliff I was standing on. This mountain range, at least, at this point was very narrow. A hidden path to Azerbaijan Just next to David Gareja monastery, there is a small entrance to a hidden path uphill. There must have been one. We could easily see people walking back and forth on the mountain and been wondering how did they get there. The path started not as interesting and was relatively hard to climb, but as we walked up, more and more picturesque landscapes opened. David Gareja Monastery of #Georgia When you walk around David Gareja monastery, you cannot help your self, but imagine hermits and monks doing their sacred stuff between these narrow passages. The place is so remote that in the whole panorama surrounding you, you cannot see a single sign of civilization. Batumi City has a somewhat unnatural dreamy aura. After witnessing all the poverty in #Georgia, it is definitely a misfit. Each year on the third Saturday of May, Vilnius celebrates Street Music day. Whatever you are a professional or amateur, everybody is welcome to play your heart out in the streets. Vast groups of people join the artists dancing and singing together to celebrate the creativity and upcoming summer.
