That woman was also my unpopular opinion! I scored very picky and fairly unique (willing to go on 22% of dates versus 80% for most people, 83% 'unique' taste), I think because I would only want to date someone very close to my age range because I want to share the Young Adult struggles and so I said no to lots of people I found attractive abstractly but who looked older than 30
