Going absolutely BATSHIT this morning thinking about just how much of "youtuber" culture was invented by dan and phil like. Livestreaming. Books. Sassy little musical numbers. Tours. So many things that are considered typical parts of being a content creator that started with dan and phil, and in return the world gave them like. A lot of shit. They were harassed and used for content and stalked and they took all that and they kept on being kind and giving their audience grace. What the fuck. How are they real. God.
