“Of course, I knew my long break was too good to be true.” Rolls her eyes.
gandrayda-returns:
“Sounds good to me,” she replies, waving a hand through a holographic display of her schedule to flip through the virtual pages. “Do you have any suggestions? I doubt you’d really be interested in my usual night-life activities.”
“I don’t know what qualifies for a date or anything. Surprise me.” She quickly added that to her own schedule, thinking about what they could even do. It wasn’t like Samus had much experience with normal life things anyways.
“Just nothing too formal or stuffy. Not that I think you’d even choose that stuff actually.”
gandrayda-returns:
“You sure you’re ready? You might wanna sit down for a bit,” she says, laying it on thick. After a short pause, she continues: “You and I are in an exceptionally sexy relationship, but we’ve never actually been on a date.”
Samus just had to roll her eyes when she heard that and scoff. “I thought that movie night counted.” She thought back, wondering what Dray thought of as a date.
“But if you really don’t consider that a date then I don’t know I’m a little busy today maybe tomorrow or something?”
@cuauhtli
“Hey lady, I just realized something really seriously important,” she says, currently lounging in the pilot’s seat of her ship and looking at her girlfriend on-screen. “Like, this is a situation so grave that it threatens the continued stability of space, time, and all life in the galaxy.”
Samus had to raise her eyebrow at being called lady, then she slightly tilted her head. She wasn’t sure if Dray was being serious or not. It was always hard to tell.
“And what could possibly be that grave?”
A THOUGHT TO CONSIDER
I think I just had a religious experience
love my intergalactic alien bounty hunting girl. to be sold as a print on my store this summer!
gandrayda-returns:
Gandrayda rolls her eyes, then reaches over and takes Samus by the hand. “Come on, we still need to get your feet patched up,” she says. “Then we’re going to go back to cuddling on the couch and watching your trashy holo collection until it’s time for bed.”
“Are you dictating I have a bed time now?” She teased, starting to head inside. She was too proud to admit her feet were starting to really hurt now, so she just pretended she had very little issues walking around. Note to self was to get a pair of sandals or something to keep by the door. Though situations like this were certainly few and far between so her unpreparedness was at least understandable.
If anything this was just a good reminder that yes, getting cuts in certain places really do hurt, and that’s why she should usually try and avoid it.
“And how come your feet didn’t get hurt?” She’s not a flesh ball like you are Samus. That’s why.
You know why alcohol is never allowed in a Blighted Kwama den? *pauses* Because only Miners are let in.
“What?”
What did the Chozo sound like?
Samus had to think for a second, finding the right adjectives was hard. “They sounded like.... Imagine a hard sounds, many ones. And each soft sound a less emphasized version, with a faint whistle.”
“But not in the bird chirping sense, the birds spoke their own language. It was more like the faints whistles of the wind and the harsh snaps of tree branches.”
“It was a language and culture based off of nature, and it did truly show. No matter how advanced and dependent on technology we became. Nothing like the person centered language everyone else typically speak.”
“Wait………. I have a girlfriend now.”
“Gay“
“You’re gayer than me!”
“Wait.......... I have a girlfriend now.”
gandrayda-returns:
Gandrayda groans. “Samus, I’m a walking battery capable of powering a small starship. Why does me being energetic surprise you?” she asks, chuckling at the absurdity of it all.
“Because I never see you hop around like that!” She quickly defended herself.
“Plus I mean I don’t know I’m not a walking battery I’m just a lump of flesh so I wouldn’t know.” She slapped her one bicep, which gave a slightly satisfying sound only to show it was firm and fleshy.
gandrayda-returns:
“Fuck yeah! But like…give me a second here, could you?” she asks, before turning around, walking a few steps away, taking a deep breath…and launching into a small bout of squealing and dancing happily.
Watching this happen was one thing, but know she caused the woman in front of her to be that happy Samus had to smile and crossed her arms.
She patiently waited until Gandrayda was done before speaking up again. “I didn’t realize you could be that energetic.” She commented.
“You do realize I don’t mind being asked things as long as I’m not being called terrifying then a planet destroyer.”
askthetwohunters:
Noxus turned her head to ensure that the other huntress was armed and ready. —A group of Kriken assassins came to this planet.— She moved closer to her.
—They come and kill important individuals to make sure the planet is vulnerable to a bigger attack. In this case, you are one of their targets.—
She lowered her arm cannon.
—It was active three minutes ago. It can’t be far away from this place. I think it is inside this building.—
Samus refused letting the other move her arm cannon down. There was little trust.
“Are you implying I can not handle it myself?” Samus raised her eyebrow, still not amused by the situation.
“And why should I believe you?”
askthetwohunters:
Spire moved in the way of Samus’ gun.
—A Kriken hunter came to this planet, I tracked it a few minutes ago, it seems like it is in this house.— He was perfectly calmed—Noxus informed the Federation about it, but we knew they would take more time to arrive than us.—
Noxus wasn’t paying atention to their conversation, she was focused in finding the terrorist.
—She is sorry. I’m sorry to disrupt your home.—He looked at her dead in the eyes. —Please, point your gun in other direction.—
Slowly, Samus looked behind her, making sure there wasn’t a set up before very quietly disappearing, still keeping her gun pointed at them.
Going off into a random room, they heard a door lock before complete silence.
After a good chunk of silence and time, Samus crept back this time in her power suit, now pointing her cannon at them.
“You will explain this. Now.”
gandrayda-returns:
Gandrayda crosses her arms over her chest, and smirks at Samus. “Well? Don’t keep your neighbors in suspense,” she says, waving to some of them. “What’s the verdict?”
Humorously exhaling and closes her eyes, Samus took a bit to think of her own verdict.
“You’re cute so I guess I’ll keep you around.”
