I forgot to make one of these pinned posts, so I'm just gonna do it now~
Heya! I occasionally post art here or yap about my interests. Given that I'm of Navajo, Puerto Rican, and indigenous Aeta descent, you might occasionally see aspects of my culture(s) in my art! Since I work full-time in the field of Biomedical Engineering, art might be sporadic! Posts may alternate between Fandom stuff, general yapping, and short comics about my and my husband's lives in the medical/medical adjacent fields!
I haven't used Tumblr in years, so please be patient with me!
Do yall ever think about how cityformers/Metrotitans are lowkey aware (sometimes) of what any and every bot are doing on them like...
The concept of a cityformer (having not socialized in awhile and therefore lacking conversational skills outside of their interactions with a cityspeaker) deadpan looking at a bot and blurting out "I recall the day you were sparked. It is a good thing your carrier is larger than your sire.👁👁" and the whole room just sits in the awkward discomfort for a min
AOUUUUGH there are few greater agonies than wanting to draw at work... and then being to exhausted to do so after work 🥀
Also thank you to everyone who's enjoyed Coast's mini comic so far! I'm very shy but every interaction means the world to me! Hopefully I can get the comic and some transformers art wips done soon!
i want to put my thoughts behind this: this was supposed to be a piece for pride month, titled "you were loved". the sky is the color of the aroace flag (just upside down)!
basically, i wanted to show an aroace person — an old aroace person, to be precise. being aroace myself, i am always told that i will forever be lonely and miserable if i don't get a partner. so showing grace, who is aroace to me, as old and happy and fulfilled and oh so loved by his best friend, was really important to me <3
Saw this rock at the World Museum in Liverpool and thought it was very Adrian coded. Wish I’d taken a photo of its description because I can’t remember what it is
(This was a sort of rushed design and I haven’t done digital art in a long while but overall I like how it came out)
I’ve saw a couple of fucked up eridians (god forbid I forget the user tags so sorry) and got inspired to make my own so now we have Roach. The more legs the better
The shape and color are inspired by the Crowley Lake Columns which I thought looked weird/cool
(I first made this post in a reblog and wanted to make it its own standalone post so if you see it twice that’s why)
//She doesn't belong to any factions and is currently on a journey through the universe in her small ship, accompanied by her Best friend Andy, to explore the world and find herself after a war that lasted for millions of years.//
• The headphones she wears are a gift from her mother, and that's why she considers them a very precious thing, and always makes sure to take care of them and protect them as a priority.
• Andy:
An intelligent being with the mind of a 12–16 yo, capable of understanding four languages, including cybernetic, yet they don't need to speak at all to understand each other. He isn't just a pet; he's her closest companion, her sparkmate, and her partner in everything.
• Her backstory:
She was born on Cybertron with the ability to create metal. She spent millions of years enslaved deep beneath the planet’s surface, used as nothing more than a living tool.
After being rescued by Senator Shockwave and trained as a medic under Ratchet.
she finally began to discover herself… only for the war to take everything away again.
She fled Cybertron and was adopted by an organic species who became the first people she truly called family.
Until the Cybertronian war followed her there too.
Driven by grief and anger, she became a fighter protecting organic lives, but a life of war and loss trapped her in a cycle of rage and despair. Finally, after the war ended, she found herself lost. Until she found someone who understood and comforted her, which encouraged her to leave everything behind, start over, find herself, and find peace.
• Her ability:
Her ability allows her to create and shape metal from her own body. On Cybertron, this made her nothing more than a living tool. She was forced to spend millions of years in mines, producing materials and structures, and supports pillars without rest.
Later, under Ratchet's guidance, she learned to use her ability for medical work, creating surgical tools, repairing injured Cybertronians, and stabilizing damaged frames.
But after losing her home and family in the war, she turned that ability into a weapon. Now, she uses it to reshape her body, craft blades and armor, and adapt herself for combat in seconds. The more turbulent her emotions become, the more distorted and violent her transformations grow.
Because of this ability, she suffers heavily with her own identity and body image. No matter how hard she tries to transform herself to appear softer or more natural, she can never escape the cold, metallic body she was born with.
