The results of the paired interactions vary from drawn diagrams that connect mutual conceptual concerns to interviews conducted on one another. There are individual and collaborative artworks mounted within the gallery space and there will be cross-genre, collaborative performances the evening of the reading series.

Video Documentation
Survival of the Fittest - Created By Connor Smith, Loc Truong, Rusty Wang, and Zhengchun Shao These two scenes were created as supplementary content to a comic titled Survival of the Fittest, a final project for the Culture, Art, and Technology class required by Sixth College.
In this comic, humanity must overcome it's anthropocentric nature and accept help from Artificial Intelligence when aliens attack Earth. The comic proposes several different forms of "aliens", each of which profoundly represents the fears, curiosities, and ambitions that the human race demonstrates regarding other intelligent forms of life.

The year is 2115, the Earth is in worse shape than it was a century ago. With the overconsumption of resources, Earth has become critically depleted of the necessary resources needed for survival. Humanity is nearing its extinction despite overpopulation all over the globe. Traces of nature have disappeared with man-made structures and establishments overriding everything else. People are dying of dehydration, hunger, and diseases caused by the many toxins from pollution. Humanity’s only hope for survival is to travel off into space and find a new place for inhabitation. With the success of the Mars ONE project, brought many supporters from both politically and corporate to continue exploring and colonizing other parts of outer space. With almost less than a century, the inhabitable planets of the Milky Way galaxy had been inhabited. SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) had partnered up with many corporations and governments to establish the Transcend 1 project in order to explore beyond the Milky Way Galaxy and establish colonies along the way to connect humanity to other galaxies. They are talking about covering lightyears and lightyears of space beyond the reach of many. The plan is to send out 2 flagships: The Nina 2, The Pinta 2 and one Mothership: The Santa Maria 2. The flagships house 150 people in each ship and the Mothership houses 300.They will be traveling within a close proximity to cover a vast amount of space together. This is where your Story Begins. CAT 3: ARE WE ALONE? IMAGINING ALTERNATE WORLDS AND FUTURES Professor Shelley Streeby TA: Jeanine Webb Written and Illustrated by Jonah Escalona
Project Spark (subject to renaming) extended demo. Storyline implementation is not finished, so the demo covers the static beginning sequence. Starting the game auto-loads save file 1, but 6 save files are available. Current functionality includes doors, signs, "charge" items, NPCs, Tortadillo enemy AI, Zero-Grav switches, Offense/Defense/Charge Spark forms and their respective abilities.
I want to thank *Joshua Ward* and *Jasmine Abay* for concept and sprite work, *Kayla Octaviano* and *Renna Esmabe* for dialogue and storyboarding (sorry I couldn't put your work in just yet. I can't have spoilers for an unfinished game.). Also *Jason Park* for providing both the music tracks played in the demo. hopefully we'll have some more of his work remastered for future levels. Without these people, this project would literally look and sound like copyright infringing lame stuff. :p Also I'd like to thank Professor Streeby and my TA Barbara Bush for providing me an environment conducive to the production of this project, as I would not have made it without it being valid for my grade. I wanted to make a platformer already, but I had no motivation to do it in tandem with school. The fact that I could do what I dream of doing, and have it recognized by my academic institution as something with value just makes me extremely happy.
