Don Corleone - The Godfather (via ilovedthatquote)
Even in Costa del Sol, the world seemed gloomy as the cold months rolled on in. People covered up bronzed skin in favour of keeping warm around the normally heated resort town. Even the slight fluctuations of weather had the locals running for shelter -- snow was unheard of in Costa and a sign of the apocalypse. Well, other than that giant red ball of angry rocked fury in the sky years ago, but Costans went with the flow of the waves; not long before such troubling thoughts left them.
Live in the now, be happy. That was Costa del Sol's main motto.
Live and don't kill stupidly was the unsung one for those who stayed out after nine, like bad duro just cruising for trouble. And man, Luciano didn't cruise -- he rammed whole jetliners into the face of it.
In the dark of an alley, nothing to light up his visage but the glow of his cigarette. The redhot bloom of illumination stretching across his features, making them angrier than he really felt. His contact was late. Fuck, he hated waiting.
"If they don't get here in the next minute, I'm going to make them dance when they do get here," the ex-Turk groused irritably.
Headcanon #2 - Angelo and Diablo
Angelo and Diablo are twin magnums that have been modded for improved performance. However, he constantly forgets what their names actually are, and should anyone ever inquired as to their names he would make them up on the spot, normally the names of dames he's been with in the past. Because of this habit, the temporary monickers are referred to as 'one night stand nicknames', considering his sources for them are thus.
A list of names he's already used for his guns, to name a few:
Loretta and Belle
Georgia and Maria
Eva and Nella
Cindy and Candy
Charlie and Dani
Chelsea and Jackie
Lois and Claire
Julia and Joan
Grinning wildly, Shotgun leaned over to smile up at him, "Hey there stranger!"
“Helloooo, beautiful," Luciano drawled out. An unlit stick was betwixt his lips as he grinned at his fellow exile, mood lifted as she was a fellow firearm user like him that he was very fond of. What could he say? He liked the idea of a well-bred lady who could outshoot him with a shotgun. “What’s got you up here in Costa?”
Swaying her weight on her feet, the cascade of hair swayed against the firearm that was straped to her back, connecting an elbow to his arm, “Oh, stopping by on the way to Midgar. Figured I had some time to spare before I’m straped to a desk with paperwork." Golden eyes shined behind long lashes as a hint of pink lingered on her cheeks from his greeting, "And what about yourself?”
"Bella, no matter how completely shitty my day might have been, it's all good now that you're here." Shotgun of the Turks, his constant partner since almost forever. The two of them went hand-in-hand like no other. It was cute to think she could hide how she felt about him, that her blush didn't mean anything to him. However, being the man that he was, if she never said anything, neither would he. "Just waiting on a job, enjoying the sun and surf. Nothing much here, Bella, except to enjoy the stay like it's always summer vacation."

{and the more foul it is the more they like each other. OUASHAKFHASD this seems to be a thing?! Because Rude and his mother trade insults as affectionate greetings. Ahh, the Community that Insults Together....}
//That is the Costa way. They are polite to tourists, but to bosom friends they let rip the insults and slurs. Should someone refuse to throw any terrible words your way, you know you must watch your back for the silent treatment is almost equivalent to a death threat.
At least if you were part of the mob like Luciano.
//If you wish to speak with e via Skype, please ask me for my contacts. I will give it in order for us to converse and plot!
{ouasiafyhgh as they are both natives, Rude would understand that. probably calls Two Guns 'Bear Bait' for that hair-do, too.}
//The two of them would trade good natured insults to each other, back during the days of Before Crisis when they would meet. We think it would be a normal part of Costa life if the locals -- especially the males -- threw insults at each other as a symbol of friendship. Nothing makes Costa men more friendly than insulting each other.
Headcanon #1 - Nicknames
Everyone Luciano meets gets a nickname in his native tongue or he uses terms of endearment such as 'chica' when talking to a woman or 'guido' when addressing a male. If the Turk knows you well enough, then his nicknames become much more personalized.
For example, no one will ever be called 'Bella' except for Shotgun, being the most lovely lady he has ever met. In personality, in skills and in looks. In that order.
Rude he sometimes calls 'the peeled head' in native Costa.

It had taken a a few good months to track the bastard down. Not terribly surprising. Gaia was a big world, and Turks knew how to make themselves scarce. Still, Rod never would have believe he’d find the gun wielding Turk in a place like Costa. He knew that like all places, it had it’s seedier areas but the over all image just didn’t quite click in his mind.
He lit up a cigarette of his own, taking a sip from the tumblr only after he took a short inhale from the cancer stick. “Just passing through, honestly. Though I did wonder where you disappeared to after the shit storm in Midgar.”
"Home is where the heart is," Luciano imparted sagely. After leaving Midgar he had given up his code name, retook his birth one. A silly, flightful name given to him by his dearly departed mama, Minerva rest her old soul. At least the old lady could rest now, since her boy was no longer doing bad...sort of. Mama never did like it when Luciano smoked or drank or any of the vices he had picked up since his days as a rum runner during his teens.
Chuckling, the dark-haired man went over to take a seat, just lounging on the tattered old chair that sat behind his desk. The whole room had the feel of an old film noir gunmshoe's office, stacks of paper, old paraphernalia and blinded windows with smoke and alcohol adding in the perfect scented accent. "I've become legit -- well, as legit as I can be after being a Turk. P.I.'s not a bad deal. Boring sometimes, but not bad. And what about you, man? What have you been doin' since we all split Midgar?"

Rude accepted the offered drink with a level look, his eyes surveying the former Turk carefully, noting the few changes time had made in his appearance. Aging like they all did, it seemed. Gracefully, to a point.
"You are not the only Turk to call this place home," he intoned with a slight nod of thanks. "It would be rude of me to not come say hello to a former colleague and fellow Turk."
"Oh, yeah? Costa's been home sweet home since I was still tied to my mama's apron strings," Luciano revealed, not caring about what Rude would think or say. Not exactly a mama's boy, the boys of east Costa tended towards being very familial and the Turk formerly known as Two Guns was very much someone who appreciated his roots. God, though, the two of them had gotten old. Smoking didn't help, neither did drinking, but old habits died hard and why die slow when you could go fast and blazing?
Luciano grinned and held up his glass in silent 'cheers' before gulping down his drink. "...You'd be Rude whether you came or not." A terrible pun of a joke at the expense of the other. "But 'hi'. Welcome to my little crib. It ain't big, but it's home. How're you holding up after everything...ended?"
51. Sang in the shower?
"Ma, che sei grullo?!" How odd, why was everyone interested in whether or not Luciano could sing? Granted, as a Turk he was meant to be able to adapt to any situation and if he had to sing, he would -- but why did anyone have to know?! He kept grumbling in his native tongue before he smacked his friend upside the head for asking such a stupid question of him. "Of course not! Do I look like Reno after too many drinks at the bar? This amazing voice is only meant for the greatest opera, capisce?!"
Wandering Katana - Have you ever Sang karaoke?
"Nope. I leave that to the tourists to do in Costa."
64. Broken a bone?
"Ah, man...you know I've gone and broken more than jus' a bone!" Twenty bones up to date, including (yet not exclusively) femurs, tibia, his pelvis of all things -- yeah, Luciano had seen his fair share of orthopaedic injuries. Both before and as a Turk.
