Woodland Wonderland || Wendy & Alice
Wendy took the bottle from the table and brought it to her lips. Neglecting to take a sip, she removed the magenta glass bottle from her mouth and looked to Alice as she shoved the key in the mouth of the lock.Â
"You can do this, Wendy. Alice said it wouldnât hurt you," Wendy struggled with herself. With a big huff, Wendy filler her lungs with air to prepare to take a drink of the potion. Letting her stomach do a flip, Wendy took a sip. The flavor was tart, then a bit fruity. Overall, the taste reminded her of cranberry sauce that the Darling family always had around Christmas time. The liquid seeped into her tastebuds, and then Wendy started to feel every cell in her body convulse. In a few spurts, Wendy saw her surroundings get larger and larger until Alice was almost as tall as Big Ben.Â
Gazing up to Alice, Wendy gave a mischevious look. âAmazing! Alice, you are so tall! I guess I know what Jack felt like when he met the Giant at the top of the beanstalk. Peter would never believe this!â
Alice successfully silenced the sassy doorknob with the key and then watched in amazement as Wendy shrunk before her eyes. How strange it was to be actually observing shrinking and not experiencing it first hand... She decided it felt rather nice and that she should do it more often.
She got down on all fours and loomed over Wendy, looking at her with her head nearly laying on the ground. "How do you feel?" she asked a bit worried, but Alice was moreover confident that Wendy could handle it. Especially if the stories she told Alice about Neverland were true.Â
