I love that Duang and Qin are autistic for autistic but opposite ends of the spectrum romance because it's perfect. Duang thinks outloud, takes everyone literally and at face value, doesn't read into anything, constantly moves and stims, big emotion is a big reaction and has absolutely never even heard of a poker face let alone had one. Qin internalizes everything, rarely expresses anything on his face, takes time to process everything silently, gets frustrated by big emotions, prefers solitude and silence, constantly self-isolating to soothe himself, slow to use words to express himself. They're just perfect together because they form such an amazing balance of love and respect and understanding. Because Duang might be an overenthusiastic puppy but he's also too much of a literal thinker to break a specifically requested boundary while also being too literal to be driven away by anything less and Qin is a tsundere because he takes so much time to process his own emotions but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel them just that he needs 1-2 business days to face them. It's perfect.

alright buckle up because I've got some things to say

new boy old friend does not know qin at all and this episode only shows how in tune duang is with qin's personality

qin is a shy introvert who has trouble singing - something he enjoys and is good at - in public, and yet his friends staged a public declaration, they forced qin to accept his friend's feelings, while, again, in public

his friend came back, cooerced qin, in public, to witness a new love declaration, a conversation about feelings and relationships, in public

new guy old friend doesn't know qin, doesn't respect his feelings or his introverted personality.

and then we have duang:

and the difference is astounding

he doesn't press qin, he asks permission, he doesn't expect an answer just because he asked a question, he waits for qin to work it out in his head

they were never friends, but partners, yet they aren't boyfriends because qin says so, duang lets qin control the dynamic, qin is the one who initiated their kiss, who initiates sex

it becomes clear how different the relationship between qin and duang is from qin and his old friend's

and that becomes even more obvious when duang is the one who comes and "rescues" qin from the situation,

even though qin would/will/did follow duang anywhere he wants it's qin's choice and duang only offers his hand, but qin is the one who chooses to take it
