R&B is absolutely my hair saviour. I have always had very straight, very fine hair and then in February I committed finally to what I’ve always wanted. A  perm. This added the moisture back to my tortured hair beautifully and it is in wonderful health even now, with the summer months upon us. I can’t recommend this product highly enough.

Imperialis is made for mixed skin types. You only need a smidgen and it smells heavenly, like a field of wildflowers for your face.

Imperialis is the moisturiser I’m using at the moment. It has a beautiful floral scent that is reminiscent of pollen, so if you’re not keen on that I’d avoid it. It says that it is suitable for skin that can’t make up it’s mind, but I still find it a little on the greasy side, so I use very, very little. As you can see from the photograph I’ve barely used any of it and I’ve had this since March. That said, there has been a noticeable improvement of the quality of my skin, it is much softer with fewer dry patches and more balanced overall. 

It is pricey - or I think so - costing £13.50 for 45g, but I will probably get another pot if this one ever runs out.

Rub Rub Rub is my absolute, No.1 Lush product that I have tried. It is a shower scrub that is also very moisturising. The scrub - if used when the skin is wet - isn’t too harsh, but it leaves your skin soft and feeling amazing. Aside from that, it carries this soft orange blossom and mimosa scent which lingers on the skin. You do need to pretty much sniff your skin to smell it out of the shower, but it is there, nice and subtle. The versatility of this product is pretty amazing too. Not only is it good for your skin, but it is amazing in your hair as well. It gave me so much volume and didn’t strip any of my colour out, though I’m not sure how it would work on more vibrant hair. 

While some of it does escape down the drain, I’d still recommend investing in a pot. It comes in at £8.75 for 330g and lasts for ages.

Avobath is one of my favourite Lush products. It smells incredible, like Lemongrass and fresh citrus and turns the bath a bright, bright green from the moment you drop it in. The smell absolutely fills the house, not just the bathroom. It does leave some staining on the bath, but it is never difficult to remove. This bomb is perfect for those rainy Sunday afternoons! 

It costs £3.35 and is worth every penny.

How do I relax after a day of stressful revision for FP2 tomorrow? By caking on the brilliant Don’t Look At Me facemask from Lush. It smells amazing and is so exfoliating and refreshing. And then straight back to work after this.
