Kaoru Kurita from Wonder Egg Priority [MENTION OF RAPE + SUICIDE‼️] (I just- I will never see someone like him in "public media" ever again dude, trans man + rape survivor + suicidal, while being a respectful and serious rep and character?? Also ugh his brief romance with Momoe, a cisgender girl who struggles with being too masculine, its just literally me and my girlfriend,,, I know he is a background character who was in a single episode, but I never saw myself more reflected in a character before him, when I first saw the anime I was neck-deep in denial with my identity, and my trauma was a huge part of it, not gonna discuss that here in case its too triggering or just overly weird but ye', seeing both things co-exist in him gave me so, SO much hope<3 theres an special place in my heart for him forever)

Haru from Beastars [Brief mentions of sexuality‼️] (I will protect that bunny with my life bro, people who call her annoying and "pick me" and kiss my shoes, I relate to her so much,, the way she behaves with other people, her whole trauma and exploration of sexuality, the way everyone belittles her for being small and weak, ngl she makes me feel way more strong and powerful than I am, I quote her in my mind daily, idk how it goes in english but the quote with the lion where she tells him she has no shame anymore)
Mabel from Hoppers (UGH HER. HERRRR HER HER HER FOREVER. She is just so me, or well, how I feel?? Im definetly not as outgoing as she is,, but augh the whole "I feel like im not making a change in the world",,, also her obvious emotional irregulations and outbursts,,, being weird and misunderstood,,, she is me guys)
Georgie from Young Sheldon (he is a loser. LIKE CMON, TEENAGE TRASH RIGHT THERE, AND IM ALLAT BABEZ, dude who is stupid as hell but really good at what hes passionate about? Me! Or at least I hope its me!)
Klaus Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy [Mentions of substance abuse‼️] (oh he is insaneeeee, I just loved him at first sight dudeee,, crazy, self-hating guy, absolute loser, with no hopes for the future? Ouch,,, also ughh his drugs issues,,, it just shows perfectly how you just, arent there when u fall yk? Hes also pretty "childish", easily scared and codependant of others from what I remember, also apparently HES PANSEXUAL??? I CANT STOP WINNING DUDE)
Will from GOAT (remember the belittling for being weal from haru?? And the teenage trash but passionate from georgie? Mix em up here, also im just a huge dreamer like him,,, )
Banner from Banner and Flappy (I actually could cite a LOT of characters here, but ugh banner,,, I really relate to the "the loneliest child in the world is still a child" trope, and im just reallyyyy childish, but Banner is 1. A HUGE shout out to my childhood, and 2. Really realistic, Banner is mean sometimes, Banner is stubborn, Banner fucks up a LOT, but he isnt really a bad person? He loves those around him, and he wants them to like him, to be his friends, to protect them and have fun all together)
Clay Jensen from 13 Reasons Why (he is DUMB, and WEIRD. Hes like an unsocialized puppy, he fucks up with his meanings when he tries to say something, he cannot be normal to save his life, shit hes not even smart! Or a good liar! Hes teenage trash with extra patheticness!)
Kipo from KIPO and the Age of Wonderbeasts (oh kipo<3 as someone who was really sheltered as a kid, and then treated as an exotic animal in a performative zoo, I really relate to her a lot! She knows nothing about the world, she knew no evil - and knowing broke her heart in pieces, just like with banner; she fucks up, but all she wants is to be happy with her loved ones)
