Or, rather, lack thereof.

Hi! So. This blog has been pretty dead for a while, and I've been avoiding discussing why.

In 2022, I had a pretty devastating falling out with one of the closest people in my life. Most of my Sonic OCs stories and worldbuilding had been tied to that person, as we'd collaborated on pretty much everything for our take on the STH setting.

While I had some fantastic RP experiences in the community immediately following that, I found myself unable to really... connect with the franchise and its characters ever since.

Obviously I still have fantastic friends, verses and OC dynamics within this fandom and for this blog -- but even then, those circles oftentimes don't have the time/energy/muse for RPing on tumblr these days, and I can't say I do either.

Which probably isn't surprising - I do lurk, and I've noticed most of my mutuals have also entered hibernation.

I've had the idea for a SHtH roleplay discord I really wanna try my hand at running, but my enjoyment of this series comes and goes in waves and never really sticks long enough for me to get it off the ground.

Anyone interested in OC dynamics is more than welcome to message me here, and mutuals can have my discord - my sonic oc discord is still running - but as for this blog itself, it's on a sleepy lil hiatus for a while.

Darla Devons' adventure has just begun. A 38yo mother of one takes to the road after a messy divorce strips her of her family's land.
