âWhatever it is youâre doing can wait. I donât ever ask you favors, Garrus, but this is the exception. I need you to come home.â
Can I has plots plz? like just throw ideas at me or Iâll invade your ask and bash you over the head with my ideas.
[[83 Plot where Nyreen and Solana were in the same unit before Nyreenâs biotic powers started showing and she was transferred to the Cabals? 8D I want these two to wreck havoc together ^^]]
PSA - So, I might be without internet
[So, I mentioned a couple of times here that I was moving. I got a place of my own (teensy, tiny, itty bitty place, but itâs miiine) and over the course of the week Iâve been slowly osmosising my way over. Starting today, my bed will be arriving, and from here on out Iâm going to start sleeping over there. Â Right now, I do not have internet access at the new place, and Iâm unsure when I will be getting internet access. Iâve been shopping around for rates, and found what seems to be a good deal, but I need to call them to confirm a few things first. Until then, no internet means no Garrus or Solana, so mini Hiatus is thus initiated until I can next log on. Hopefully this shouldnât take more than a week.]

âIâm not that easy to kill, Solana.â Garrus replied with a soft sigh. âYou ok? Howâs dad?â
Garrus knew he had a lot of explaining to do. He also knew that his father and sister would never approve of him being completely smitten over a human. He decided to keep that part to himself for now. Shepard didnât even know about his feelings.
âYes, it was.â He answered. âWe have been traveling all over basically the moment I left.â He explained, watching his sister for a moment.
âYes, that is him.â He replied. âI suppose so, he was one of the greatest threats this galaxy has ever seen, weather he had good intentions at first or not.â He commented then paused for a moment. âI wonât miss him. He was a menace before he even began to help the reapers.â He murmured.
Solana only gave a noncommittal noise, still perusing through the file. She truthfully knew little of Saren, or of Spectres in general; Only that Dad disliked them with a passion. She could still recall eavesdropping as a child as her father complained about such and such an investigation interrupted by the meddling of these so called Spectres, super officers unbound by the rules of the law. âPower does have a way of going to peopleâs heads. Just make sure the spectre you decided to run off with doesnât have the same delusions of grandeur, otherwise youâll be repeating the exercise with Saren a second time.â She peered over her data pad, suddenly frowning. âThe what?â Solana blinked, confused. For an instant her translator kicked in, but the word Garrus used made no sense to her. âSpeak Citinian, Garrus, not everyone spends all day gallivanting with aliens. What in Spiritâs name is a âReaperâ?â
[[Starter call because I have drafts and shit to do but I am plotting trash. I especially kind of want to do something with reaper invaded Palaven, or AU!Sol. Mehbe. Like for a starter :3]]

âThe whole street is blocked off. The police wonât tell us anything, but I think thereâs been some kind of attack⊠Maybe a bomb?â
âAn attack? â the matron reiterated, facing the turian with inquisitive eyes, her high-pitched tone suggesting she was taken aback by such occurence. âWhat happened?â
âA circus is in town, and the entire facility is celebrating galactic peace.â Solana answered, deadpan. She looked up from her omni-tool long enough to fix the Asari with a scowl. âObviously if I knew that I wouldnât be wasting time here, would I? Gah...Dammit!â She dropped her arm with a snarl.  âWhatever it is, theyâre blocking coms. Even the back-up network is blocked and that was set up for local use only. Which means...â She scarcely seemed to be speaking to the Asari anymore, voicing her thoughts out loud. âSomeoneâs set up a short-ranged jamming device at the same time that a station-wide lock-down was initiated. And as per usual, security has no idea whatâs going on.âÂ
Alright, Ness told herself.  She could do this.  Sheâd already gotten a reaction that wasnât explicitly anger, or at least not the kind of anger that was likely to end with her lying in a puddle of her own blood.  And who said all those nights rehearsing for auditions were a waste of her time?  Today she was playing the part of the pathetically terrified and all but blubbering little girl - which wasnât much of a stretch, really, as she was quite frightened in truth.  She just had to⊠exaggerate a bit.
With a little hiccup, she reached up with trembling hands to scrub at her eyes.  âI didnât m-mean anything by it,â she said, her voice woefully tiny as she took a calculated moment to meet the turianâs eyes, then almost immediately look away again.  âI-I-I-I have a problem!  S-sometimes this just happens, yâknow?â  She curled in on herself slightly, giving off the smallest, most vulnerable air she could manage.  âI r-really didnât mean toâŠâ
âAlright!â Ugh, she just couldnât take it! Solana held up her hands, careful to keep her distance. âIâm not going to have you arrested. Thereâs too much paperwork and I donât have that much time. Just stop leaking, Spirits.â She refused to think of all the germs the Asari was practically gushing. She made a mental note to thoroughly disinfect her data pad when she got home. âJust...Be more careful next time. Others might not be so nice.â Solana added reproachfully. She stopped long enough to consider the leaking mess of girl in front of her. Though Solana only knew a handful of Asari, even she could tell that this one was quite young. She didnât know what led her to such a conclusion. But there was something altogether half-grown about the Maiden, and the runny eyes didnât help matters either. âYou seem a little young to be getting into trouble with strangers,â Solana said suspiciously.

âIâm not that easy to kill, Solana.â Garrus replied with a soft sigh. âYou ok? Howâs dad?â
Garrus sighed and ran a hand over his fringe. Where to even begin explaining this?
âI know, but itâs a long story. â He replied.â I decided to team up with Shepard, that new human spectre. â he explained.â We had a common goal; to take down Saren. And with her on my side, I wouldnât have to worry about the usual red tape getting in the way of my investigation. â he sighed again.â We managed to take down Saren. I called you at my earliest opportunity. Right now Iâm on the Normandy with Shepard. â
It was not the type of explanation Solana had been expecting. And yet she was intrigued. Baffled, certainly. And more than a little concerned at how quickly Garrus had decided to throw out his career and jump ship with a human of all things. But intrigued. âYou quit months ago, this was really your earliest opportunity?â Solana quipped, but there was no edge to the reprimand as she leaned forward to dig for a datapad off camera, wearing a look that spoke of puzzle pieces being rearranged in her head. âSaren....Iâve heard that name before. Youâre talking about the spectre, arenât you. Saren Arterius.â She started flipping through a data pad, hitting upon the information in no time. âRight, here it is. Conspiring with the Geth. An attempted coup on the Citadel.â She raised her brow plates. âThe Hierarchy is posthumously accusing him of treason. I guess congratulations are in order.â
[[Solâs everyday clothes. Kind of the worlds fastest colouring job...Not too happy with the shading but it was a fun design project. Might revisit this. Itâs going in the âIâll do this over eventuallyâ Pile.

X ofbulletinnuendos âSpirits, Garrus! What did you do to your face!?â
âI was helping a⊠friend⊠Iâm fine, itâs all healedâ he reassured his sister quickly, trying to smile the best he could for her sake.
âFine!?â Solana paused long enough to laugh at that, a high pitched, thready sound. âGarrus. It looks like you tried to stop an explosion.â She gestured violently.  âWith your face.â  She clacked her mandibles closed long enough to bite down on anything more she wanted to say. And there was plenty more because leave it to fucking Garrus to show up out of the blue one one day looking like heâd been chewed up and spit out of Hell itself, only to say that he was fine. Yeah. Sure. And she was the fricken Primarch. âClearly you were busy doing more than âhelping a friendâ.â Solana said, eyes flicking up and down Garrusâ bullet ridden armor. With sudden fervor she pointed to the nearest chair. âSit.â She ordered, turning heel and moving towards the icebox. âGet that junk off. And start from the beginning.â She returned with glass of juice shoved into Garrusâ hands and determination in her eyes. Garrus wasnât getting away from her until she got the whole story.
Plot Ideas
[[Just a couple of ideas I have for Sol. If anyone is interested in any of these please let me know and weâll figure something out. Going to eventually make these verses, but for now, I just want to get them out before I forget]]
Plot Bunny 1- An AU in which Garrus dies during the assault on the collector base and Solana is instead recruited from Menae during the Reaper war.
Before his death, Garrus asked his friend, Liara TâSoni, to hold on to a message for him in the (very likely) event that he didnât survive the suicide mission. It was essentially one last letter to his family, outlining his reasons, apologizing for leaving, and including a detailed warning of the coming reapers. Because of this information, Solana and her father were able to convince the Primarch to provide them with resources to better prepare Palaven for the impending attack. When it does hit, Solana finds herself in the completely undeserved and unexpected position as Palavenâs âreaper expertâ and is sent to Menae to oversee the war effort. Solana holds Shepard squarely responsible for luring her brother to his death. Despite this, she also recognizes that the Commander is the best chance the Galaxy has at winning the war. Shepard may have pointed the gun, but the Reapaers pulled the trigger, and sheâs determined to see them destroyed for it.
Plot Bunny 2 - Surviving Palaven
Takes place during the events of ME3 and the Reaper invasion of Palaven. Solana finds herself in the midst of the end of the world when the Reapers come to Cipritine and burn the city to the ground. Trying to find her missing father, she teams up with other survivors to form an impromptu militia. They donât expect to do any real damage and news from the outside is rare. Their only goal is survival.
[[If I can think of more Iâll reblog this with fresh ideas. For now my brain decided it was done co-operating]]
X littlestarletness âExcuse me. Thatâs mine.â
âOh, um, is it?  Very sorry.  My mistake.  Must not have been thinking!  Um, here, why donât you just take this backâŠâ
Sol didnât so much as blink as she stared at the asari girl. She didnât buy it. Sure, it could have been an accidentâŠ- But there was plenty of room on the transport and Solana had literally put down the datapad for all of three minutes. Narrowing her eyes, she snatched back her device, holding it gingerly between forefinger and thumb as she fished out an antibacterial cloth to quickly run over its surface. âDid you knowâŠâ Solana said, in slow, careful measures. âThat it is a capital offense to steal classified information from the Turian military?â Â
Ness squeaked and pulled back, her hands clasping nervously together in front of her chest. Â âI-I-I didnât mean toâI mean, I didnât know thatâI didnât read anyâI mean, th-this is all just a misunderstanding!â Â She summoned up her acting experience (aided by the fact that she was indeed scared out of her mind) and let only partially genuine fearful tears well up in her eyes. Â âI-I just picked it up! Â Honest! Â I wasnât gonna do anything with it, I swear!â
âAh.â Solana lifted her head. âSo it isnât âmy mistakeâ anymore. Now itâs âI wasnât going to do anything with itâ.â She tucked the datapad away safely, crossing her arms. The girl seemed to be at a frantic crossroad. Solana didnât think sheâd ever seen someone dissolve so quickly into a mess of stuttered responses and pleading. It was enough to make her scowl in irritation.  âOh, Donât give me that! Show a little dignity! Wipe your....fluids.â She clacked her mandibles closed. The Asariâs eyes were leaking. She did not know if this was normal. It didnât seem normal.Â

âIâm not that easy to kill, Solana.â Garrus replied with a soft sigh. âYou ok? Howâs dad?â
âNot like I would know,â Solana said flippantly. âYou dropped of the face of the Citadel without so much as a call. How do you think Dad is? Heâs pulling in every favour heâs owed from here to C-Sec trying to figure out why the hell you quit.â She paused long enough to lean back in her chair, regarding the vid screen with a frown. âSo? Why the hell did you quit? Whatâs going on, Garrus? Where are you?â
