Can you hand me a towel? I’m a little wet.
Jaxson had decided to head to a small lake he had found a few miles down the road from where he stayed, it was finally hot enough for him to take a swim, and he wasn’t going to miss the chance. As he made his way to the edge of the lake and began to take his shirt off he heard movement in the water, all of a suden a huge ass man popped out of the water with warm smile, “Can you hand me a towel? I’m a little wet.” Are the words that came out of his mouth, Jaxson jumped back out of surprise and just looked at the man, he then finally spoke, “I mean, sure I guess.” He holds out his towel to him, with an all to confused look on his face.
Arthur loved pulling this little stunt; popping out of the water and making unsuspecting victims jump. He shouldn’t, he was supposed to a be a hero after all, but most reacted well after the initial scare. This particular man was reacting better than most, the confused look on face making him chuckle.
❝Thank you.❞ He reached out, taking the towel and wrapping it around his shoulders. The water and being wet never bothered him, he would be a rather pathetic ruler of Atlantis if it did. Arthur studied the other man carefully, tilting his head just a fraction. It wasn’t often the strangers around here were quite so attractive. ❝I haven’t seen you around here before.❞
Jaxson eyes the man casually up and down, he was quite the looker, tall, muscular, even more so than he was. This man wasn’t someone he would want to mess with, though he didn’t seem very threatening, Jaxson still had to stay on guard.
“No problem.” The southern man says plainly still looking to the other man in strange confusion, he just seemed so odd to him, he just gave off the weirdest vibe.
“Well, I just found this place not long ago, and I finally had a free day so I figured I’d make my way down for a swim.” The man spoke once more, bluntly as he usually did, “I take it you come here often then? If you are around enough to notice who’s around.”
