Youta hesitate for a second, before looking between Noel and Freya, “Wait a second, are you sure it’s safe for Freya to come with us?” 

He hadn’t really thought about it until now but… what was the Wild Area like here? Was it as dangerous as the Wild Area he knew?

“Hey now!“ Freya replied without skipping a beat, “Don’t worry about me! I came all this way by myself, I can take care of myself!“ 

She looked down at the Yamper beside her, “Voltoutou and I can hold our own, right boy?”  Voltoutou barked and wiggled his butt in response!

“Ahh, well congrats~” Noel grinned, giving Youta a teasing elbow to his ribs. “Kalos huh? My mom comes from Kalos!” He chirped at Freya with a chuckle.

There was a brief moment of silence however, tipping his head to the side at the Princess, Noel would question. 

“So uhm…what was all that commotion about…?”

“They said there’s like, Pokemon on the tracks so they stopped the train!“

“But it’s okay now because I met up with you guys!“ She added,

“Ah? He’s told you about me? Are you and Kida talking about me behind my back, Prince?” He grinned over at Youta as he took Freya’s hand, giving it a firm shake.

Then he paused…

“Fiancee!?”

“Yes!“ Freya replied. She wrapped her arms around one of Youta’s arm, “We’re going to get married in three years from now!“ 

She looked between Youta and Noel, “So, when I heard he was coming here, I wanted to come too!”

“Ah??” Noel was quick to step away from Youta as the stranger straight up clung to him. The confused blonde blinked at his friend, tipping his head to the side.

“When’d you get so popular with the ladies Youta…?”

“Not exactly?“ Youta chuckled. He looked past Freya’s head at Noel, “Noel, this is Freya. Freya, this is Noel.“

Freya pulled herself away from Youta to look at Noel, “Oh?” She held a hand out towards Noel, “Nice to finally meet you, Noel! I’m Freya - Youta’s fiancee!”

The familiar voice instantly caught Youta’s attention, and he turned to face it.

“F-freya?!” What was she doing here?!

Freya immediately whirled around the moment she heard the familiar voice, and her entire expression lit up, “Eeeeeeiii!”

She raced towards them, and threw her arms around Youta, “Yoooouuuuuuttaaaaa!”

Noel was about to follow him out, ready to talk to him, until some commotion in the station kicked up! It was enough to cause him to pause and look back. Reaching out quickly to grab Youta by the back of his shirt and yank him back into the station.

“Hoo, someone’s making a fuss, yup yup…” he whispered to Youta quietly, pointing out into a crowd gathering around two figures! Noel couldn’t make it out, standing on his tip toes to gaze over the people!

“What do you mean that this thing can’t move forward?“ A high pitched voice twang out from the crowd. Freya stood, leaning forward towards a conductor, with her hands on her hips, and her back to the boys, “I am in a hurry!”

Somebody ate and drank faaaar too much over the holiday.

Why do people want ships? Are a lot of people trying to ferry a lot of items over a long distance?

Half-lidded, glazed over blue eyes dragged their way over to the source of the voice.

     ❝ …I’m here to collect berries. ❞

The woman responded, idly moving the basket she was carrying, before walking over to a nearby tree and examining the fallen berries on the ground.

Freya eagerly clapped her hands and hopped up and down, “Ah! Bravo! Me too!” She folded her hands in front of her, “Want some help? Voltoutou only wants the sweet ones so, I’m only looking for those!”

“Yup!“ Thanion laughed. He looked up at the portrait, and shrugged, “Most Nobles like to flaunt themselves like this.“ 

Though if you asked him, it was a huge waste of money. But she was right. It was a pretty painting… 

“Not my family.“ Freya sighed, “I do believe Father has a painting of himself in every room... but I cannot imagine trying to get everyone into one painting...“ 

She decided to explain that, because she wasn’t quite sure whether or not Thanion knew... so, she looked at him with a smile, “Oh, I have two sisters, four step sisters, and a brother. I could not imagine trying to get the entire family into one portrait!”
