[Ray’s legs certainly were beginning to get numb. He was more used to sitting, just watching the sun go down. Unlike what Silver probably had, Ray lived on the streets. He had no parents to raise him, only cruel hearted people, where it was either grow tough, or die. This was why Ray was so mean to the people he met. He scorned those who showed him compassion, regarding them as spineless, and usually, people got the hint and left him alone. But Silver had always kept coming back.

The squirrel raised an eyebrow as Silver just dropped himself down. It looked like he was getting more comfortable in his own skin, which was now significantly larger than it was before. His eyes widened when the other pulled him down, his ears twitching. Silver’s laughter was… really nice to hear, almost like that strange rumbling sound had been. Ray’s eyes were just about as wide as they would go when Silver got so close, and placed his legs around him. He found himself uncontrollably turning a faint shade of red. Silver’s face was so close to him right now, not to mention the hedgehog’s enlarged stomach now pressing up against his own thinner body.

An apology? Ray wasn’t entirely sure what it was for, but he showed his acceptance by putting on a smile. It was then he found himself nuzzling against Silver’s face. He hadn’t really meant to, it was an urge that he had lost control over, which only made his cheeks feel even hotter. To try and cover for it, he raise a hand to scratch behind Silver’s ear. Hopefully he wouldn’t get teased for doing that.]

Don’t worry about it. I’m just really happy to see you again, and I’m glad you’re feeling better.

[ Silver gave a cheery smile though it was short-lived due to unexpectedly being nuzzled against by Ray. Blinking a few times, the hedgehog parted his lips but then pursed them, not bothering to say anything. Shutting his eyes and returning the rather affectionate gesture, snuggling against the squirrel-- however, he literally melted against Ray when a hand began scratching behind his ear. That was a sensitive spot, eek!

Feeling his face ultimately heat up, a purr escaped him abruptly yet again. Lightly biting his bottom lip and leaning into Ray's touch, Silver let out a breathless sigh; this signified just how much he was enjoying it. A shiver ran up his spine however and caused the hedgehog to let out what could be identified as a moan or a gasp; either one. Embarrassment as well as anxiety suddenly filled him; quickly, he hid his face against the squirrel's shoulder, his face heating up more and more with each passing second.

Now Silver was worried he might have made Ray uncomfortable with his vocal reaction, this is the reason why he never let anyone touch his ears but.. he wasn't expecting Ray to touch them, so he didn't have time to warn his friend about his possible reaction to the gesture. ]

Ss.. st--.. stop, please.

[ He muttered under his breath. Great, here comes the stuttering again. Silver honestly didn't know how to deal with these kinds of situations without feeling humiliated for being extra sensitive about certain body parts. Such as his stomach and his ears. ]

Even though he was standing, Ray was getting more and more comfortable himself. Physical contact was unknown to him, other than a couple of instances where he had knocked the lights out of someone who had done something he deemed wrong. Now here he was not hurting, but petting someone. The sound that came out of Silver’s throat was just as new to him. What was it? It sounded a little strange, and yet, a little relaxing. 

It vibrated against his body. Ray could feel it coming from Silver’s neck, and chest. It was comforting, and only encouraged him to keep petting the other’s head, his strokes getting a little less awkward with each movement. By now, his legs were getting a little tired, but… he wasn’t entirely sure that he wanted to let go just yet. Silver’s body was soft, not really because of his enlarged stomach, just in general. His quills were soft, his chest was soft, even his arms were soft. He could only think of one thing to say. Hopefully it wouldn’t come off as too awkward.

"…Do you wanna sit down?"

[ Silver pulled away to look the other in the face, a small frown aborning his facial features only to be quickly replaced by a goofy grin. Giving a nod of his head, the hedgehog's grin turned into a small smile. Silver wasn't tired as he was used to standing around and walking for hours on end; he was, more or less, an extremely hyperactive teenager with boundless energy to use up. Yeah, sure.. but when he used his psychokinesis abilities all that energy was drained in an instant.

Heaving a small, breathless sigh; Silver gave a tilt of his head. He had to take Ray in for consideration though, his legs were probably getting a bit numb due to standing in the same position for so long and not moving. ]

[ Letting himself carelessly drop onto the floor below, though made to sure land softly so he didn't end up hurting himself. Tugging his friend down with him, the hedgehog let out a short laugh and scooted closer to the squirrel who was now siting before him. Glancing down and carefully letting his legs rest on top of Ray's so the other was straddling him; the hedgehog loosely closed his legs around the other's hips so only his ankles crossed over each other. It's been a quite since he's seen Ray, he went back into the future, home, -- not to forget, without informing anyone -- for a good month; this was the thought that lingered on his mind as he stared at the squirrel. ]

I'm sorry.

[ Silver let the sudden apology slip. He was actually, really sorry for leaving Ray so abruptly and also sorry for letting his emotions get to him like that moments ago. ]

His eyes widened when the other actually returned the gesture. How did this work? What was someone supposed to do when it came to comforting another person? Ray had spent his life being all but a bully to other people, he wasn’t used to making one feel better about their imperfections as opposed to making them feel worse about them. There were so many things he could say that would have come off as passive aggressive insults. Ray didn’t say any of them. Instead he wrapped his silky golden tail around the hedgehog, holding on to him just a bit tighter. It did feel… nice.

"You can always count on me." Ray’s eyes closed as he went over the words he had just said in his mind. He figured… it could be okay. Silver was a nice person who had stuck with him, even through the pseudo bullying, something no one had ever done for him before in his life. Ray was okay with making this hedgehog the one exception. The one person he didn’t try to insult in any way. “You’ll be back to your old self before you know it." Also just a little awkwardly, he let his hand raise, petting Silver’s quills. This was what people did to comfort others, right?

[ Peeking off to the side when something else wrapped around his form, Silver could only smile to himself when he realized what it was; Ray's tail. Leaning against the squirrel and continuing to nestle against his neck; he was getting quite comfortable. Giving soft hums here and there, the hedgehog nodded at Ray's word which only caused the smile on Silver's lips to grow. ]

Mm.

[ He slowly nodded his head again. Though the thought of never returning back to normal scared him to no end, honestly. With all these negative thoughts lingering on his mind he never really noticed the slow, awkward petting to his quills. Coming back to reality, Silver let out an abrupt purr escape his lips, not entirely used to being pet. Though he liked it, he really liked it. Thus the reason for the purring that continued to escape the hedgehog's throat. ]

Oh dear, he hadn’t meant to make the other cry. There may not have been any tears now, but they couldn’t be that far off. What was he supposed to say? How did you comfort someone who had poor body image? It wasn’t as though there was anything he could do to make it go away. When he caught glimpse of the tear, he was quick to use a single finger to wipe it away.

He put on a smile, as strange looking as it may have been. Ray wasn’t the biggest smiler. Still, this guy had been pretty nice to him in the couple of months they had known each other. He felt the need to help in some way. “I wasn’t kidding, you don’t look bad at all, you look cute! If you really don’t like the way your body looks, it’s up to you to change it. But if you want, I could try to help you out in some way." Other than saying that, there was only one other thing he could try doing.

A little awkwardly, he moved his hands out, pulling Silver into an embrace. Ray’s eyebrow was raising the whole time. He was secretly hoping he was doing this right.

[ Silver pursed his lips as he listened to Ray speak, nodding his head every once in a while so the golden squirrel knew he was listening and so not to come off as rude. Deciding to glance up, the hedgehog blinked in confusion when he was pulled into a rather warm, and awkwardly comforting embrace. Silver could sense it radiating off Ray's entire being; he didn't know how to deal with situations such as this. Blinking, Silver cautiously moved his arms, wrapping them around the squirrel's neck and leaning into the other more, nestling his face into the crook of Ray's neck and sniffled again. This was nice, Ray was nice.

Letting his eyes flutter closed, the hedgehog could feel the corners of his lips curl upward into a small smile. Quite happy he had such a great friend who was willing to help him with his 'problem'. ]

[ He mumbled against the squirrel's neck. ]

That’s when his ears twitched. Ray may have been insensitive, but he knew when he was taking things too far. He stopped immediately, raising his own hands to take Silver’s and bring them away from his face. Something Ray wasn’t, was good at comforting people. It seemed like he never knew the right thing to say. His tone had changed completely from mocking to gentle. “Is everything alright?"

[ Keeping his gazed downcast, Silver sniffled not once, but twice. Giving a quick shake of his head, the hedgehog's frown deepened further. Silver wasn't one for being teased, he didn't like it. Even if Ray was joking, it still kind of hurt. Silver was kind of a narcissist when it came to his figure and he loved it more than everything. There was no way in heck he'd be able to go back and do performances like this.

So, sniffling a final time and lifting his head to stare the squirrel in the eyes, Silver's felt his lip twitch. He was sniffling yes, crying, no. Only a single tear had managed to form, though. ]

N-no... I'm f... fuh-- fa... t. I don't like this!

[ Silver did the best he could to choke back a sob. His face still quite flustered from all the embarrassment that was welling up inside him. ]

"Is it like a magic lamp? If I rub it do I get three wishes?"

And he does just that taking a small step forward and closing the space between them, placing both hands on Silver’s rounded belly and slowly rubbing. Ray the insensitive.

[ When Ray began touching and rubbing at his stomach, the hedgehog felt like he was on fire. His face was literally burning due to the humiliation he felt. Shutting his eyes tightly, Silver rose his hands to his face and used them to hide behind. A sniffle could be heard, followed by a few more. ]

"What’s that look for? You’re still cute."

[ The hedgehog frowned uneasily, furrowing his eyebrows and biting onto his bottom lip. He was about to slip off of the embarrassment borderline. ]

[ Silver felt his face heat up. ]

M!A PUDGY

W-wha—!?

[ Poof, a large cloud of smoke had enveloped him. Coughing when the smoke entered his lungs, the hedgehog began flailing his arms about; fanning the sudden outburst of mysterious smoke away. Placing his palms in front of him, he began examining himself to make sure everything was in its proper place or to make sure nothing was missing. Where did that smoke come from anyway? ]

Phew, I’m oka—! Huh?!

[ Glancing downwards and staring at his stomach with a look of disbelief and shock, Silver shakily poked at his now large stomach. What happened? He was suddenly.. fat! ]

Smiling wide she lifted one hand to gesture to the blue and yellow chao floating beside her.

I’m not alone! I have Cheese with me!

[ Silver gave the tiny rabbit a smile. Nodding his head to acknowledge the Chao's presence. ]

“Sure,” Ray commented. Then he took Silver’s hand, flashing him a smirk. There was no reason not to help out someone who was lost, especially not when he knew the location well, having grown up in this part of the neighborhood. “I’ll show you around.” He not so gently began walking, tugging the hedgehog along with him. “So why don’tcha tell me about yourself, Silver?”

[ Silver flinched rather lightly when Ray had taken his hand, stumbling over his own two feet to regain his balance. It was rare that he lost his balance, so it took him by slight surprise. Focusing back onto the squirrel when he spoke, the hedgehog blinked. ]

About myself? W-well.. I'm from the future which kind of explains why I'm lost.. and I'm able to use psychokinesis. It's a power of mine.
