"The Tanuki"

Finally posting OC Lore related content (Well I share all the lore to my friends on discord but it's time I'll do it public)

Eng. Ver:

“I had a best friend; he was a little chubby and very cheerful, but also a bit clumsy. So I used to call him ‘Tanuki’ because of that.” He wasn’t a samurai like me, but he used to work too hard for me, he was more of a blacksmith, and I owed many of my weapons to him. It was just another winter. The townspeople followed their custom of staying more hidden and cautious for fear that the Snow Deceiver might claim another victim, but ‘Tanuki’ saw this as an opportunity… He planned to trick him and then kill him, so that he could finally be recognized by the whole town, yes, he loved being the center of attention no matter what or how. So he made his own weapon and went into the forest. ... .. . Months passed without him returning; his family told me they’d heard from him before he went into the forest. 'He wanted to trick the one who was tricking us,' I replied. 'I warned him over and over why it was dangerous, but he thought I was exaggerating to scare him, just like everyone else.' It’s been a week since 'Tanuki' was presumed dead, after they discovered he’d been beheaded with a message written in blood in the snow: ‘That’s what he gets for being a empty-headed tanuki.’ — 雪の詐欺師 ... I don’t mean to sound harsh, but I think he’s right. Why would someone like HIM even try to play his own games on others? It’s very... empty-headed of him; his tricks and pranks backfire just like any tanuki’s.” — Natsuhiko Takeshi

"Yo tenía un mejor amigo, era un poco gordo y muy alegre, pero al mismo tiempo despistado. Asi que solia apodarlo 'Tanuki' por eso. El no era un samurai como yo, pero solía trabajar demasiado para mí, el era más de la forja, y muchas de mis armas eran gracias a él. Era un invierno cualquiera, los ciudadanos siguieron la costumbre de mantenerse más escondidos y cuidadosos por miedo de que ese Embaucador De Las Nieves consiga otra víctima, pero 'Tanuki' vió esto como una oportunidad... El pensó en engañarlo para luego asesinarlo y así, ser finalmente reconocido por todo el pueblo, sí, le gustaba ser el centro de atención sin importar qué o cómo. Así que se hizo el mismo su arma, y se fue al bosque. ... .. . Pasaron meses desde que no volvió, sus familiares me dijeron que sabía de él antes de irse al bosque. 'El quería engañar a quien engañaba a nosotros' Respondí 'Le advertí de más el porqué era peligroso, pero pensó que lo exageraba para que le provocara miedo, como los demás.' Ya pasó una semana desde que se dió a 'Tanuki' como muerto, debido al descubrir que terminó decapitado con un texto escrito en sangre en la nieve: 'Eso lo pasa por ser un tanuki cabeza hueca' — 雪の詐欺師 ... No quiero sonar rudo pero creo que tiene razón, por qué querría intentar hacer sus propios juegos a alguien como ÉL? Es muy... Cabeza hueca por su parte, sus trucos y bromas salen mal como cualquier tanuki." — Natsuhiko Takeshi
