Kida admittedly wasnāt the most outwardly excited person for the summer festival, it made the restaurant about ten times busier comparatively. After a double shift, she was walking through the hoards of people visiting the different booths and the little kids running around aimlessly. Eyes were locked at a booth with brightly coloured lights when she bumped straight into someone, falling flat on her butt, Kida looked up. āWhoops, you good??ā
ā Ā John wasnāt used to wandering the festival without his sidekick. He had spent every other year with Morgan, making sure she was having a good time and generally giving into her every whim. Without his daughter, he wasnāt sure exactly what he should be doing. For the most part he had just been eating and people watching. Rounding a corner, he hadnāt even noticed someone approaching him until it was too late.Ā āOh shit.ā He said as Kida knocked into him. He managed to stay upright but couldnāt help but let out a chuckle when he saw her on the ground.Ā āIām good, Iām good.ā He told her, reaching out a hand to help her stand back up.Ā āIām sorry-ā He started; about the laughter.Ā āAre you alright?ā
