[About the Blog and AU]
The blog’s OP is @delta-the-mando, who is Sven Svensson fictionkin, and has originally based this Cyborg!Sven AU on their kin memories.
They originally began to write a fanfic about the AU (which can still be found on their main blog and Orphaned on Ao3), but has long since scrapped the idea when they fell out of the Stickmin fandom and lost contact with their canonmate, so now the AU will be revived from the dead and live on as an ask blog that will loosely follow the original story plot while also allowing askers to help nudge the plot along and alter the course it‘ll go in.
However, of course, remember that despite leaning towards becoming an ask blog, this is still OP’s THSC side blog and will still make and reblog THSC things as normal.
[Tags to Know]
[now loading…] — This is the start of the blog’s storyline.
[the story] — All panels, both plot comics and relevant asks, will be here.
[incoming message] — Asks to OP instead of the characters.
[sv3n speaking] — OP’s rambles (may be kin-related or not). Not relevant to the AU’s story.
[announcement] — Like this, any important message OP wants to make.
[On Asking]
If you’re asking/saying something in the ask box, please be sure to specify who you’re talking to if there’s multiple characters in the scene and the ask isn’t obvious to who it’s for.
If you’re sending an ask to the OP, please refer to them as Delta (or simply OP) to avoid confusions (as they like to be called Sven as well, and unspecified asks may accidentally go to a character instead).
That being said, OP (and thus characters) is not obligated to answer any questions they do not wish to, such as anything hateful, religious, political, etc., and it’s recommended you don’t send those types of asks in the first place.
Similarly, please do not beg for your ask to be answered, even if it’s harmless. There’s a good chance that either:
1. OP hasn’t gotten to it yet,
2. Multiple people have said something similar, and for ease only a few of said asks (maybe yours, maybe not) are “answered”, or
3. If it’s a plot/character ask, it might not fit the story at that time and thus won’t be answered (then, or ever, depending on the ask).
Finally, asker “magic” is typically not allowed to alter/push the plot. There are only very specific cases where it may be allowable, but understand that even if it fits the criteria, the magic ask still might not get picked depending on other people’s submitted options and what would best carry the plot forward.
Examples of “magic” that would not be allowable are:
1. “Poof! You’re wearing a dress now!” — (You’re not actually magic here, guys)
2. *gives you a taco* — (You can’t directly interact with the characters like that)
3. Saying a locked door is suddenly unlocked — (You can’t directly interact with the characters’ world either)
Now, examples of “magic” that could be allowable are:
1. “Wait, try swiping the card again *it unlocks the door this time*” — (This can be plot-explained, like perhaps the door lock has faulty wiring)
2. “Wait- Who’s that behind you??” — (A new challenger approaches?? But don’t overuse this one)
3. Anything actually magic that appears in polled choices — (Speaking of, let’s talk about that next)
[On Polled Choices]
As previously stated, this AU ask blog storyline will loosely follow OP’s original ideas while still allowing askers to change it up through the ask box. However, on rare occasions, there may be a point in the story where very specific choices may need to be made, and those will be made into polls in the posts for people to vote on. When there’s a polled choice to be made, “votes” in the replies or ask box will not count!
Additionally, and most importantly, there are NO Fail options in choices! Since Henry isn’t the focus and this AU timeline actually stems off a Fail option in Completing the Mission, we cannot fail further here. Sometimes an option might not work (desirably, or at all), but it will not result in a Fail.
You got all that? Good. Now get on board the rocket already, we were scheduled to launch a while ago. I will not hesitate to leave you behind…
