While proving a code recently, in a Eurotech Elite SLY (the most obnoxious of Fanuc control which I usually like), I came upon the discovery that a G84 requires an M35 and an M70.

This was in the rotated coordinate system G68.1; so proving it out I ran it in the air with two different workshift comps: first in Z+ just to see if it was safe (which it wasn't), then in Y+ to see if it wasn't going to go where it need to go — aircutting Y+ let me see where the tool was going to go in the part with my eye-crometer without cutting.

Why I tryed the camembert young: Here's attempt number two. It's twice the size: I made two instead of four, which I'm not sure if that makes this brie since this is only from half of a gallon. These ones are sitting on a 2x6. I used maybe a third or a quarter as much salt. Checking the camembert young it doesn't seem as though it's going to end up a camembert i.e.: it's very firm and salty; I think I used too much salt when I was trying to get salt on the edges, and applied less artisanship than I should have when forming it. It's very firm more like parmesan, but I think it turned out just fine; I'm going to give the rest of it free reign in a mason jar for a couple more weeks or maybe just one. #theartofnaturalcheesemaking #cheese #raw cheese #raw milk #rawfood

16min and 30sec into the movie Contact the character Ellie says, “[Venus] should be over there, soon.” The orbit of Venus is smaller than Earth's about the Sun. Carl Sagan complained about the scientific accuracy of Star Wars episode IV. Do you see what I’m talking about? They should have had an astronomer review this script for discrepancies, or did they not think people would geek out on the film adaptation of Carl Sagan’s Contact.
