-> in response to an 18 year old being taken advantage of by a 56 year old in the BDSM scene. Kinksters love to enable predators while pretending to be against misogyny
I need everyone in radblr to go buy urself a copy of "Herland"(1915(?)) by Charlotte Perkins Gilman as soon as possible. Yall do not understand. I cannot believe this isn't like, basic radfem/female separatist literature already.
Same author as "The Yellow Wallpaper", three men find a land consisting of only women which is a literal utopia. The men question their own failures in patriarchal society while the women of this land politely exchange information with them about their own lands.
You have no idea how therapeutic this book is. men casually say "oh no man can do that!" and the women respond "oh, no man? can women do it?" and the men go "oh yeah, also no women". There's also such brilliant regular feminist thinking through the book;
"These women... were strikingly deficient in what we call "femininity". this led me very promptly to the conviction that those "feminine charms" we are so fond of are not feminine at all, but mere reflected masculinity- developed to please us because they had to please us, and in no way essential to real fulfillment of their great process."
Insane for 1915 and such a fucking relief and pleasure to read. I hope all the anons who have asked me about radfem books see this bc yall NEED IT
btw if anyone needs a pdf there is one in this radfem lit google drive: **fiction > classics > herland
btw i love you pdf google drive creators. modern day heroes.
Why women need to have power to be independent
Not-so-friendly reminder that there is no such thing as an underage woman or non-consensual sex, the words you’re looking for are “child” and “rape”. Way less syllables and way more accurate! Thank you for your time.
Due to people finding out that ICE are raping children, the children are being trafficked to another location where no one will find out.
More people should be fucking furious about this, theyre openly admitting to trafficking children. Why the actual fuck are we letting the rapists relocate the girls for their "safety"?
FYI this is just what happens when males have unfettered access to female children, everywhere, every time. This new location will not be safe for these girls unless the island is free from males.
I’d die on the hill that “stranger danger” is a deeply unhelpful mentality to have. “Ooooh everyone is out to get me they’re all gonna perpetrate harm that’s actually more likely to come from someone I already know. I better never talk to anyone in my community who I don’t already know, just to be safe. I’m sure there are no other biases interwoven with this mentality” like oh my god human traffickers do not just randomly spawn in every parking lot. You don’t have to go solo hitchhiking across the country but you also don’t have to live in fear that every guy on the street is the knife man who’s gonna get you. Like have situational awareness, yeah. But most of the time the guy on the street is not knife man he’s actually just a guy on the street and he’s probably pretty chill, and you’re driving yourself crazy by living in a constant state of unnecessary fear.
Like always safety comes first, especially if you’re in a marginalized group more likely to be targeted by random people around you. But that’s different from stranger danger. I might even say that stranger danger is something that contributes to marginalized groups getting targeted by random people. Which strangers do you find distrust worthy? Why? Does vague distrust justify harmful actions in the name of self defense? Stranger danger draws everyone away from more important issues of safety (underlying bigotries, systemic injustices, abuse in the home, etc) and towards an amorphous boogeyman that has no solution, because it’s not the real cause or culprit.
i have never in my life heard an adult or even teenager use “stranger danger”. it’s a motto for children to protect them from people who approach them whom they don’t know. it is so disingenuous to suggest that paranoia about public safety is unfounded. women especially are vilified for not being prepared in case of an attack, but if a woman is prepared, they’re paranoid and hate all men? i concede that most abuse is from someone you know. that doesn’t mean it’s completely useless or harmful to acknowledge the danger in being in public. every woman i know has a story about a public encounter with a man who disrespected or violated boundaries at the bare minimum. not naming the problem isn’t going to make it go away and dismissing real fear that is grounded in reality to suggest it’s a form of a systemic oppression is fucked up and intellectually dishonest
OP is a man saying man things about women’s inevitable wariness around the half of the population that keeps raping us. We’re very notably not afraid of other women, but OP knows that if he pouts and sulks about us being cautious around men he’ll be too obviously in the wrong so we get this manipulation tactic instead.
I am an almost 30 year old woman, I consider myself decently well put together with a robust social support network and no threat of homelessness. And even I found detransitioning to be one of the most difficult excruciating things I've ever done. To all my sisters who are not detrans, please give patience and grace to those who are on this path. I first "peaked" 7 years before fully committing to detransitioning. It takes time and immense strength to do something like that, doubly so for those who underwent surgery and/or have their lives homes and careers wrapped up in the trans community.
Svetlana Zakharova as the Dying Swan (x)
As if Joanne couldn't get any shittier, she misgendered and insulted a woman who called for support, all because the woman had PCOS/PMOS and "didn't sound feminine enough."
Fuck her.
Your shitty children's series isn't more important than people's lives.
It's super common for men to call and harass just about any help line. They even call suicide help lines to fap to makeing the women uncomportable. Yeah if you do this you should be called out. I think your name should be published as well.
As a CSA survivor it is infuriating that trans fanatics are deliberately misinterpreting the situation to fuel their JK Rowling hate boner
Some man rang a rape crisis hotline with bad intent and implausible story to harass rape crisis hot line workers and troon losers are framing this as some poor victimised baby who was trapped and violated (his details are not published dumbasses) and of course he would hang up (when he figured out she was already onto him) and how dare a rape crisis hotline record calls like it isn’t standard practice to record phone calls
PCOS does not make women look and sound exactly like men (I would know I have PCOS)
I find it extremely offensive that you are using my medical condition in your shitty gender identity ideology
Stop wasting time on services for rape/abuse victims
These services exist to help female rape victims not for your weird gotchas
@terracotta7 Fuck You
I'm just going to say that we also had deep voiced "women" try and arrange to be "picked up" for transport to our intake center.
We had to be extremely careful because on *several* occasions this individual turned out to be a male who was extremely angry that our workers had assisted his ex-wife or girlfriend in leaving or divorcing him. One woman in 2006 was badly injured in this exact ploy. When we got to the point of stating that we would provide pickup services with a female police officer present, suddenly those calls ended.
Yes, there are many men who ring up and masturbate while describing sexual violence, and there's many men who ring up and just try to waste the time of the women running the phone lines. But there are also men who will try to manipulate workers into a physically unsafe situation.
A woman ringing up and stating she has PCOS and a beard would also have no reason to hang up upon being told the call was being recorded. A man who is lying to a support service and trying to cause trouble would.
Tras are proving every time they open their mouths why trans is just a men's rights movement wrapped in a progressive flag. A man harasses an SA survivor help line, but because the service is established by a woman tras hate and because their religion demands them to pretend that PCOS makes women indistinguishable from men, they are bending over backwards to make the man the victim of the situation. The next thing they will do is look you in the eye and claim no man would benefit from a trans identity.
Like are you serious
I made collage in under a minute because that’s how easy it is to get these exact search results in this dystopia we live in
adding some more dystopian images..
Kink.com is a Hell on Earth rape on tape corp
Kink has been at the center of multiple lawsuits alleging the studio failed to ensure a safe work environment. In one lawsuit, a former employee of Cybernet Entertainment, the company that owns Kink.com, alleged that she was "placed in an unsafe work environment" during a bondage scene and was fired when she brought her complaints to Kink.com management.
In three other lawsuits, performers Cameron Adams, Joshua Rodgers and an anonymous John Doe allege that they contracted HIV on a Kink.com set as a direct result of the company’s negligence[…]
Kink.com has videos of women getting waterboarded. They have videos of women getting suffocated with plastic wrap.
Their stuff is so brutal and dangerous, I wouldn’t be surprised if they kill a woman one day. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they already have and covered it up. This isn’t just harmless sexual fun, this is deep and deadly hatred for women.
I remember when the mainstream was questioning the ethics behind torturing prisoners of war in Abu Graihib and Guantanamo Bay
Where are the ethicistists when it comes to torturing women in bdsm?
Prisoners of war during the height of imperialist wars are given more consideration than women on your own side
They also have several videos where the whole concept is a lesbian being gang raped until she likes men.
I HATE when people talk about women who are victims of rape or women in general like they're property of their country/culture/religion. I see this a lot when white racists talk about immigrants coming and raping 'OUR women' while they themselves are doing the exact same thing.
I've also seen this happening when moc talk about colonialism or even when a woc is in a relationship with a european person. They aren't angry at the pain and trauma that women go through because of these men but rather the thought that another man can violate his property and often themselves. They hate it when their priviledge and ability to oppress women is taken away from them.
Sometimes it feels like history is written and taught from the perspective of a man. The brutalities women faced are often only talked about when discussing colonialism but only somewhat implied when talking about pre-colonial history. People don't want to acknowledge that the large majority of women in the past only 'had sex'(were raped) with their husbands because they were taught that it's their duty to do so and they it's not like they had any other choice.

I have. No words.
Yes. Oh yes. Pregnancy. Pregnancy is just an STI. It really is. It really is not that bad. Why are you complaining about pregnancy? When other STIs exist? Pregnancy is temporary. AIDs lasts forever. Don't you know? Pregnancy isn't that bad. It's just. A medical quirk. Just a little. Tiny. Medical. Quirk. Hahaahhahahahhahahahahahahahhahhahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahhhhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhaahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahahaha
Something about the word consent in feminist and liberal lingo has always bothered me. 'Enthusiastic consent' 'Consent is key' 'consent is sexyy' 'Don't post nudes of women on the internet without her consent' 'never put your hands on a woman without her consent', or conversations around the importance of consent in surrogacy, sex work, bdsm, everything. Then it kind of clicked, because consenting to things in these scenarios is a relatively passive action. It is soo one sided. Consent implies that there is one who proposes and one who accepts. Consent is defined as something that 'occurs when one person voluntarily agrees to the proposal or desires of another.'
She can consent, even enthusiastically, say yes or no, like a binary code, but she did not design, propose, initiate or orchestrate it, nor can she fully control the outcome in the society she lives in. And this is true on a mass scale. When have you ever heard of sex being described as men consenting to a woman's sexual advances? Or discussions that you shouldn't upload men's explicit pictures without their consent?
Male consent is not considered an important factor because their desires are assumed inevitable, like a force of nature, a neutral, unquestioned starting point, and women can only exist relative to that, to either accept or deny. They can't have active desires of their own. Men are considered actors fundamentally and women are the ones acted upon.
Of course consent is important and essential, but would consent in these scenarios be all that much better than non consent given the coercive society we live in? Consent is a poor ethical framework if taken alone. Consent itself in these scenarios can never be ethical because the premise itself is unequal, as are social interpretations and outcomes, and no amount of agreement will change that.
And once again you’ve read my mind and put it to words perfectly.
This is exactly what I mean when I say “consent” is just the modern equivalent of “submit.”
I also just hate the colloquial meaning of it
No one says you consent to go on vacation, you consent to go to the beach, you consent to go to a restaurant.... Consent is only really used for things in legal spaces, or like something you don't really want but agree to as a trade. Like you consent to surgery so you can feel better, not because you love being cut open. You consent to a drug test so you can get hired, not because you just love having blood drawn. "Consent" is almost always used to refer to something you begrudgingly agree to do in return for a benefit of some kind.... And sex.
But if it's something actually fun, you don't say you consent to it. You don't consent to go to a concert, you either want to go or don't. You don't consent to going to a sleepover with your friend, you either want to or don't. No one says "I consented to enter this bouncy castle at my birthday party!"
Consent as a concept frames sex through the framework of what men can get away with "ethically" (legally), rather than through what women actually WANT.
