FanFiction Recommendations

Pretty much everyday I see some post about people looking for fanfics. Here is a list of fics I have read (or are currently reading) and enjoyed. There are other fics I have read and liked, but maybe not enough to recommend (if that makes sense). Some of these I already have longer reviews for and I have linked the review just incase you want to see what I thought about it before you read the story. Some of these I have reviews in process. I want to highly recommend two tools for helping you with this very sad situation, which you must use before it happens.

The first is this wonderful script that will automatically add key information (that you choose) like author, title, summary, etc to your bookmark notes so you at least know what got deleted.

The second is this incredible bulk downloader for AO3. Input any AO3 page (such as your bookmarks page) and tell it what format you want to download in and it will just.... DOWNLOAD IT ALL!! I run it every few months so that I have all my bookmarks downloaded in my preferred EPUB format. That way I know I always have my favorites downloaded in case they ever get deleted.

With the combination of these two, I can look in my bookmarks, see what was deleted, and easily find it in my downloads. It's such a relief to have my own fic library is all my favs!

I think the anime did him absolutely foul pretending this man didn’t spend ~30 years of his life wearing white into battle and still having to come home and pass inspection

I was tagged by the lovely @crimsonsynastry! i just finished up my draft of ch. 2 of punch-drunk so it was happy timing checking my notifs. mild cw for post-fight injuries. 🥊

Vegeta was quiet and staring at her with a strange, dazed expression; beneath all the bruising, she could have sworn he was blushing. "What?" Bulma asked. "You—" he clenched his teeth. "Fuck. Nevermind." "Are you sure you're not concussed?" "I'm fine—don't stick that fucking flashlight in my face again," he demanded. When she did anyway, he snatched her wrist and dragged her forward, bringing her to stand between his knees. He'd used almost bruising strength; he was really out of sorts. She knew she should feel some level of danger or wariness around him, be concerned he'd hurt her. But a long time ago Bulma thought her sense of danger had been shut off; she was kind of like Goku in that way, except specifically about boys with dark eyes and horrible pasts. "Be nice," Bulma warned. Vegeta gave her a feral grin with blood-stained teeth and a split, bruised lip. He leaned back in the rolling chair, relaxing his grip on her wrist infinitesimally (still not enough for her to get away) as he tilted his head back with the unrivaled princely arrogance only Vegeta could summon. "Or what, exactly?" he drawled; his other hand had come to the back of her knee, dragging a very slow, very torturous circle on the incredibly sensitive skin there. Holy shit.
