TWST Art Gallery Collab

A couple months ago, a couple of buddies and I got together to give ourselves a bit of a challenge. We decided to give ourselves a little self-study, and challenge ourselves to create fan art pieces inspired by and in the technique/style of classical art eras. Each of us had an individual era to learn from, and we opted to all draw from Twisted Wonderland to keep it in theme. To be completely honest, I couldn't be more proud of all of us and what we all accomplished. And we hope you enjoy it too!

After four years of waiting, the anime is finally here, and it certainly didn’t dissapoint. I hope many new people will discover the wonder of magical mentally ill teenage boys and join our fandom! The episode was great, and I’m excited for the rest of the season (and season 4 PLEASE)

This animatic is to celebrate Twisted Wonderland and its themes and journey and bla bla bla

Over and over do people overblot, does Yuu have to deal with the neverending tragedies, and over and over do we get to know these characters on a deeper level. The way they present theirselves and your first impression of them is never quite what they really are. People are almost never JUST this or that, they’re not one sided. There is always something driving them. The Rose Red Tyrant? Or just… Riddle Rosehearts? These boys are not just villains, they’re not just evil. They’re wildly flawed but they too deserve compassion and understanding and redemption.

Riddle enforces the rules like his mom, over and over.

Leona self sabotages and is his own worst enemy in a way.

Azul goes even lower than his bullies, under and under.

Jamil is gay.

Vil always chases perfection, morning and evening. It’s never enough.

Idia felt nothing but grief, even as he tried to suppress it and ignore it. It drowned him.

Malleus vowed to never let someone he cares about slip through his fingers again.

I hope that old fans can continue to love Twisted Wonderland, and that new fans can join us in the fun and appreciate these incredibly well crafted characters too! I once again encourage discussion in the comments, part of why fandom is so fun is to share opinions and thoughts after all!

6. Who confesses to the other first?

Jack confesses first! Eira showed signs she liked him beforehand, but he says/signs the words first.

How does it go?

Jack and Eira stopped to look out at the dock. Their date had been a wonderful escape from campus and each coy touch and squeeze of her hand made Jack's heart skip a beat. He had always been a frank person, but this was one of the hardest things to say.

"Eira?" Jack said got the courage to admit that started to melt when she looked at him, but he stood his ground. Then removed his hands from his pockets to sign as he spoke. "I am not good with... fancy words." He was slow, but he wanted to make sure he got the signs right as he spoke. "Being with you feels right. Not just today but every day, since we met." He looked up from his hands to her face, he wanted to look her in the eyes when he laid out his feelings. "You make me want to work hard to become a better person. I want to learn to sign so I can talk to you better. I look forward to our runs every morning, not just because your a good running partner but beacuse I love you."

Eira's ears were perked towards him and her tail swayed. Her eyes were wide and she signed, 'Again.'

Jack wondered if he signed the words wrong but he slowly signed, 'I love you.'

Eira took his hands in hers and she stepped closer. She guided his hands to sign, 'I love you too.'

Jack couldn't stop his tail from moving and didnt want too. She moved his hands to her sides and Eira went on her toes. Jack leaned down to meet her in a gentle kiss.

11. What nicknames do they have for eachother?

Jack doesn't really do nicknames, but he does call Eira Fox and Snow (since her name means snow). Sometimes he does use terms of affections but rarely.

Eira calls Jack Wolfie, handsome, and strong man.

Do they say them around others or only in private?

Jack only calls Eira her nicknames in private or when they are signing.

Eira uses his nicknames whenever. She often when it will make him blush or as a tease.

Where did they originate and what do they mean?

Eira gives people nicknames and uses them often in sign when she gossips with Rook, which is where Wolfie came from. Handsome and Strong man came from her wanting to tease him and then turned into terms of endearment.

Jack calls her Fox in retaliation for her calling him Wolfie. Once they were in a relationship and Eira told him the meaning of her name, Jack started to refer to her as Snow in private moments.
