The concept that married people live longer is interesting. I'm sure there is some merit to the idea that if you're married there is someone there to nag you about going to the doctor, but I think much larger factors are having the finances of dual incomes and access to an immediate support person.
Surgeries require having a designated person to look after you. Many injuries require driving to somewhere like an emergency room which can be hard to do if you are the one injured. If you're home with the flu, it's hard to tell when it's bad enough to go to the hospital without another person checking on you. And if you pass out it requires another person to find you like that to get medical aid.
You can prop it up as the benefits of marriage, but I think there's a much deeper discussion to be had about how we've built society around marriage as an inevitable conclusion and neglected to build support systems that function outside of romantic pairings.
Sometimes it is your fault.. Sometimes you don’t listen well enough, you’re selfish, you’re rude and you aren’t always right. Sometimes you fucked it up and tbh that’s okay. It happens, learn from it, apologize and keep it moving. Just because you fucked up doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. Don’t dwell on it
A little animation I did for twst anniversary, but only posting it now ( ̄▽ ̄')ゞ
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH Y’ALL~!!
Here’s the original meme for all your meme needs 😎
The world would be a dull place without trans people.
This is a hard thing to hear but i genuinely say it with care and best wishes:
Keep using your brain and trying that hard thing no matter how foggy. Feel stupid! It's ok! I promise you are not stupid. I promise your brain will appreciate it. And that with time it will be valuable that you tried.
It's so easy to lose a whole week to brain fog. But your brain and body don't just stop existing that week (though it can feel that way). It's so important to try to incorporate puzzles anyway. Cook a meal from a scratch, do a jigsaw, the wordle, sudoku, use your other hand, learn a new card game, watch a brand new show, do simple math equations, write words backwards, learn a new language (or even just random phrases from a few), play a podcast, read a fun article or magazine, try a new creative project. Something! To help you feel better longer and keep your brains synapses synapsing.
Find a way to push yourself into it. Ask a friend to do it with you, set a timer, build it into your routine, have a bunch of fun games on your phone, puzzles by the bed, set your google to open straight to wordle.
TO CLARIFY: neuroplasticity is magic. And CONTRARY to prior belief it does not just stop after like 25. The brain can recover in exceptional ways so if you feel behind, or feel like you lost so much of what you knew due to a deep spell of illness or depression or injury; it's never too late. Never too late to nuture your brain to a better state of health.
So have a glass of water, take a deep breath and please join me in feeling really stupid trying to finish a "simple" puzzle and know we are all doing a very good job. ❤️

You got Culinary Crucible Wesson (SR)!
Prompt
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

⭐️🌐Take the poll, guys. We need to show this millennial boss that AI sucks!🌐⭐️
AI is not a good thing a majority of the time. Especially since a majority of countries do not have laws or regulations of what it can or can't be used for.
- AI is taking away jobs from humans. (That encourages job insecurity and economic disparity.)
- AI is ruining the environment. (It uses massive amounts of water/electricity.)
- AI ruining any type of art. (Writers, artists, etc. Are suffering. If you are a museum that hosts art and is considering this, that would be incredibly ironic.)
- There is a massive problem with deepfake and illegal images being made by AI. This could spread misinformation/illegal content.
- It has discrimination built in. (AI can learn from historical human data. So that means it absorbs human biases, so it will discriminate against marginalized groups. Many places use it for job application, and it discriminates against the applicants. DEI policies are slowly being erroded, and AI makes it worse.)
- AI is a privacy and security risk. (AI creates privacy risks through mass surveillance. Currently, we are having problems with people pushing online safety, age verfication, digital IDs, etc. Then places can leak it. This happened with multiple companies. The most infamous one being Persona with Discord.)
- They will eventually lose control over the AI. (Some AI researchers warn that as developers build increasingly powerful AI, we risk losing the ability to control/steer these systems. I mean, AI literally made a social media for itself (Moltbook). If that is not losing control already, it is a warning sign it will.)
- AI can spread misinformation. AI can sometimes make up information if it can not draw from a reliable source or sources. That can be incredibly dangerous.
- AND SO SO MUCH MORE NEGATIVE THINGS!
⭐️ I and a majority of people will not stand for any museum that does this. Museums are supposed to be places of actual knowledge and learning. Not AI slop machines!Make that clear to you boss he WILL lose business! ⭐️
1$ flea market score. Tiny glass 1960s perfume bottles. I love them.

Warm up sketch of Oisín from last night
"Meet in a Dream"
I had originally wanted to paint this as a recreation of "Sleeping Beauty"'s final climax, in the style of cell animation. But when the crew and I started picked the eras we wanted to paint, and I picked the Romantic Era, I knew I had to paint this.
That's right- I made two paintings. I felt extremely inspired to be perfectly honest.
I'll share my notes, different than the ones I made for "Oasis" here, under the cut.
