Hello everyone! Just a quick update. I’ve decided to move to WordPress for my blogging needs. It’s been fun with Tumblr all these years, but I’ve decided to have a change in environment. Tumblr’s blogging features have been good and useful to me, but there are some features that are more accessible in WordPress.
I will not be deleting this Tumblr blog, because I might use the reblogging feature and I’m still following some Tumblr blogs that I like. But, I have imported some posts to my WordPress.

Hello! I went to a Fujifilm store last weekend and had the films from my disposable cameras developed. This blog post contains some of the photos I took during our family trip to Tokyo last June 2018.
The family went to Tokyo last June and luckily, our trip coincided with a Cardcaptor Sakura Kerochan Café event! Keep reading for details and photos of our visit!
Before our trip, I already knew about the café. The café required reservations so I decided to read their instructions. They had a form but for groups of 5 (I think, I’m sorry I can’t remember) and above, reservations had to be made through a phone call. We are 6 in the family, so I knew I had to call.
The next problem was how was I going to call them and will I be able to communicate with them. I only know basic Japanese, so before making the call, I thought about what they would ask and I searched on Google for the right words and/or phrases to say. After that, I searched how I can make a phone call to Japan using my Philippine number.
Thankfully, I was able to call them and placed a reservation. My basic Japanese knowledge pulled me through too. This event actually made me want to seriously pursue studying Japanese when I graduate from school (aka when I have more free time hopefully).
When we arrived, we were greeted by a huge Cardcaptor Sakura poster and I felt my excitement immediately spike up. We actually arrived earlier than our schedule, so the staff kindly asked us to wait outside while the customers inside finished their time.
Upon entry, we were given the chance to take a commemorative photo on this spot.
I swear I felt so happy to be there 😭

This is how the interior looked like. The design was simple, but I could clearly see that it was inspired by Cardcaptor Sakura and Kero-chan.

What we ordered
For every order placed, visitors get a random coaster. I’ll include a picture of all the coasters I got in the haul section of this blog!
For drinks, my brother and I ordered Cafe au lait, I got Kero while he got Spinel.
For food, I ordered takoyaki.
My mother and sister both ordered the Modanyaki style Keema Curry Noodles with Hot Spring Egg. I have to admit, I don’t find it visually appealing, but I had a taste and it was delicious.
My father ate the Takoyaki with Hot Dog Bun set.
My little sister ordered the French Fries and Chicken.
This was another attraction in the café. I saw lots of customers take photos here. Unfortunately, I’m not good at reading Japanese so I’m unable to tell you what’s written. It’s been my childhood dream to own all the wands and cards. Someday, I’ll collect them all.
Kerochan Café Store Haul
With the drinks we ordered, there was an option to take the same kind of bottle by paying an extra amount.
The same goes for this plate, when I ordered the takoyaki.
Ta-da! With the help of my family, these were the coasters I collected. There were duplicates of the pink Kero and blue Sakura coasters, so I gave them to my sisters.
This cookie was included in the food we ate, and since I really enjoyed eating it, I bought more in the shop.
At first glance, I thought it was a stamp pad, but it was actually chocolates!
I also bought a pink tote bag with the café's logo. There was also a color gray option, but I liked the pink one better.
These konpeito aren’t mine, my friends asked me to buy it for them. These are so pretty!

South Korea 2017 Photos from a Fujifilm Disposable Camera
I’ve always been interested in film photography ever since I saw my father using a film camera when I was young. There’s really a certain charm to it. Unlike now where we can see the photos from our digital cameras instantly, that’s not the case with film cameras. We don’t see any previews and we have to wait for the films to be developed.
For my trip to South Korea last year, I brought with me a Fujifilm disposable camera. I did consider asking my father for his camera, but I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to take care of it properly, since there are steps that should be done when flying with it.
In this blog post, I will be sharing some of the photos that came from that Fujifilm disposable camera. I hope you enjoy browsing through this post!
Hello everyone! I’m back with another blog post! Like I mentioned in the previous post, Dana and I visited a cat cafe after we visited a dog cafe. There are actually a lot of cat cafes in Manila, but the one we visited was Cat Cafe Manila, which is located in Maginhawa, Quezon City. I was able to purchase coupons on MetroDeal that’s why we decided to visit.
They have a website: http://catcafemanila.com/. They limit the number of visitors per hour, and entrance to their cafe is on a per reservation basis. They do allow walk-ins though. But to be sure, make sure to make reservation if you do decide to visit!
There’s some food and drinks available in the cafe!
Cat Cafe Manila also encourages the adoption of their resident cats.
Dana and I may have visited during their nap time 😅😂Most of the cats were asleep, that’s why we were only able to play with a few of them.

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. I was so busy with school and other things, and I didn’t find any motivation to update my blog at all. But since I have some drafts, I figured I should finish writing them and then publish them here.
Last year, Dana and I visited Barkin’ Blends Dog Cafe. We got to visit their Katipunan Branch, but now they’ve moved to Rizal. I’d like to share with you some photos I took during our visit there.
The dogs were so adorable and playful!
About 30 minutes into our visit, we just sat down and waited for dogs to approach us 😂
