do you like bees
YES.
My favourite species of bee is actually the Xylocopa latipes or the Broad-Handed Carpenter Bee!!!
Just look at them!!! Such a pretty species! They are found in forests of Southeast Asia! They make their nests by burrowing into wood! Specifically dead wood, this species is not normally found burrowing in trees!
Also a super silly fact about the broad-handed carpenter bee is they will get attached to certain structures or places! This species will be seen going to the same spot over and over again! Even through generations this bee can be found returning to the same location very regularly and consistently! I find this such a silly fact! Also just look at how STUNNING they look! Oh my gosh if you are looking for a beautiful animal to research, research this species! I loves these bees so much!
favorite desert?
<^> <- supposed to be a star sorry
The Atacama Desert!

I find the Atacama Desert in Chile very interesting due to primarily its geographical location! It is in very close proximity to the Pacific Ocean which I think is pretty kewl! Another fun piece of geography regarding the Atacama desert is its salt pans! I really like looking at photos of salt pans during the day because they look so sparkly and shiny when the light reflects off of them :)
Look at how beautiful Lake Erie was this weekend!!! So cold but so pretty!
I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving this past weekend if you celebrated! The weather was so nice where I was!
Giant springtail, Tetrodontophora bielanensis, Onychiuridae
Found primarily in central Europe
