listen. i love people who like that shane and ilya didn't have chairs at their wedding. for book canon, i absolutely get it. but for the show? absolutely not. yuna "what's the plan?" hollander, she's planning a wedding in a month and that wedding absolutely has chairs. she'd rather die than have people standing around unsure where to go. the moment shane told her he was going to propose, she had a wedding planner ready to go and tentative bookings at three different wedding venues. she picks the boys up one day "just to see them" and they have tux fittings and cake tastings. they don't even have to think about planning the wedding because yuna is already planning their honeymoon before they can conceptualize it.
i hate seeing fics that have some of the most well thought out characterizations and storytelling just to see they have basically no hits or comments. like wdym this work makes me wanna be a better author just to be on par with who wrote it and i'm the only one reading it!!
“What did you say?” Robert asked, his mouth drier than it had been in a long time.

guys. GUYS. i'm SO sorry this took so long to get out there. the ao3 curse is alive and well. a lot of weird, unfortunate events plagued me this month, including: a move in an unexpected snow storm, my new job going from 0 to 100 within the span of a week, eliminating 90% of my writing time, and having a huge issue getting my meds, which meant my brain just went kaput on me for a while there.
long story short, i've been roughing it a little these past few weeks. but i'm back now!

i have the final chapter outlined, i just need to write it. sadly, i still have very little free time, and while my brain is on an upswing cycle right now, it doesn't take a lot these days to send it in the opposite direction. because of that, i don't want to promise anything in terms of timing. ideally it'd be within the next two weeks but well. i said that last time lol.
i hope the fluffiness of the chapter makes up for my absence, i really liked writing this one. it felt good to have them finally talk things out and i giggled several times while writing the car scene. i'm glad i took some time to really workshop this one because it was originally a LOT more angsty before i realized i didn't want to write robert being a depressed asshole any more than he wanted to continue being one. me and robert have that in common lol.
so i run my own trivia night (which has been one of the most fun experiences ive ever gotten to do!) and with my free will i'm doing a heated rivalry trivia which has already gotten a LOT of traction so i really gotta make it good.
but now i have to actually write the trivia and i'm blanking on good questions! so pls gimme any good suggestions for rounds/questions

one of the things that i know is going to make me sad when s2 of heated rivalry comes out is that they're absolutely going to have to change the name of the centaurs. if they couldn't get the bears and voyagers cleared because of similarities to the actual nhl teams, then the ottawa centaurs (ottawa senators in real life) is absolutely not going to fly.
whatever jacob changes it to, i just need the logo to still be god awful.

I’m having a ball in here and loving it etc but I think having been insane about media since the age of 10 has inoculated me somewhat to the life altering effects it’s having on normal people.
