What I Study: The beautiful, frustrating mess that is the human mind (Psychology) I figured if I understood everyone else's problems, I wouldn't have to deal with my own (Spoiler alert: The joke's on me)

What I Also Study: The microscopic, terrifying mess that is the human body (Microbiology/Immunology)

Current status: arguing with my Husky mix over whether his mother is a weather wizard capable of summoning snow in Toronto in the middle of June.

Where I Work: The place where you pick up your meds (Pharmacy Tech). I promise I'm nice, but please don't interrupt me while I'm counting pills

Okay but what aggravates the hell out of me is that people saw the scene when Henry says “we are one” and a tear falls and didn’t connect the dots. Even before I knew about the first shadow (found out after the show ended), I saw that scene and went “oh that’s not him talking.”

CASE STUDY #001: WHY THE HIVE MIND IS THE ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE 🧠📋

As a psychology student (I don’t have the degree yet, so don't quote me in a peer-reviewed journal and this is not official medical advice), I am currently suffering from severe Cognitive Dissonance. I’ve been on Henry’s side since Day One because his commitment to the bit is unparalleled.

Is it antisocial personality disorder? Maybe. Is it a valid reaction to a world that lacks fundamental psychic order? Absolutely. While the kids are running around with their underdeveloped prefrontal cortexes and unregulated emotional outbursts, I am standing in the Red Dimension waving my pom-poms like: “GO OFF, KING! REALIZE YOUR POTENTIAL!!!!HENRY! IGNORE THE UNDERDEVELOPED NEURONS OF THE YOUTH! ERASE THE STATUS QUO!”✨👑

And let’s be biologically real: Jamie Campbell Bower is a psychological hazard. Whether he is being the ‘orderly’ in the lab -Mr. Whatsit - or just staring into my soul with those terrifyingly beautiful eyes, his bone structure is a medical anomaly and my brain short-circuits every time he monologues about the "mediocrity of humans" because, frankly, he’s right cause everyone else is mediocre compared to that jawline. Why would I root for kids with bad haircuts when a 12/10 psychic masterpiece is offering me a seat in the hive mind?

In conclusion, morality is a social construct, but Jamie Campbell Bower’s bone structure is a biological imperative. I’m abandoning my degree to become his personal consultant/cheerleader,I’d rather be a literal vine in a hell dimension than listen to one more flashlight wielding teenager cry. I always think I’m lying about things. Like sometimes I think I’m lying about having hyper-fixations—especially when they go dormant—but then I get a new one and remember I’m absolutely not lying because no normal person (re)discovers an actor and suddenly has a whole new layout for all of their social medias with their face plastered in it, and suddenly knows every detail about every one of their projects in a 24 hour timespan. I stayed up all night after watching Mortal Instruments just to watch TikTok clips of Jamie Bower and listen to his Quinn series. I asked for the entire mortal instruments book set along with the coloring book and the graphic novel for Christmas after having seen ONE comically bad movie. THAT IS NOT NEUROTYPICAL BEHAVIOR I PROMISE.
