1970s Fashion
From The Archives
1915 Dress of black embroidered net over black satin, wide folded girdle of black satin, fastens in front with a row of small bows. The skirt has one of plain black net and beneath that one another of black net and satin with a ruffled lower hemline. Elbow length sleeves with black net ruffles. Low V-neck front and back with embroidered trim on the plastron front. "Plastron" is an ornamental front of a woman's bodice or shirt consisting of colorful material with lace or embroidery. It doesn't happen often, but somehow I managed to not record the entity holding or selling this gown. My apologies.
