In this week’s installment of ‘I can’t stop painting Armand!’. I started sketching this listening to ‘Beware’ by Deftones and it was a perfect combo. They’re the soundtrack to devils minion in my head. Also maybe dipping a toe into some Jasper/ Talamasca stuff soon cause I adore William Fichtners bone structure. But damn Assad Zaman is gorgeous, speaking of bone structure. @ IWTV casing dept, you really did find a painting in a human with him, huh?

Did I spend maybe a full minute gazing happily at his face on the back cover of a copy of hotel portofino at work today? Yes I did. Yeah.

This is sort of a Frankensteined companion (lol) piece to the dual-eyed Armand- initially I just wanted to paint something of vampire Daniel looking HAWT, and I originally had him wearing his sunglasses but honestly I thought it looked cooler without them. Then I started thinking about his eyes… and here we are lol.

Who’s that cheering for a Pulitzer winning 70 year old crotchety, kind of assholey journalist? Oh that’s me hi. I love Daniel and I love painting mature skin? Textures baby, hell yeah!

Cardinal Lawrence is the funniest man ever. He keeps sending his pet Monsignor to go snooping around for him, and when he comes back with intel half the time Lawrence says “no, don’t tell me… I mustn’t be influenced…” and then his Monsignor says “but your Eminence the tea is exceptionally hot today” and Larry pulls out his gay little cup and drinks that shit like a starving man at a feast who’s trying to pretend he’s only a little peckish
