Way of the Sword (Prologue) - Elsword Fanfic
Blood gushed out from a young knight's leg as another knight pulled out her black steel blade from his opponent's body. The female knight was about to land the finishing blow when another knight struck from above, forcing the female knight to back away.
"Seth!" the knight called his wounded comrade. Seth was suffering from severe bleeding, resulting him not to be able to walk at that moment or even stand properly.
"She... got me good, Raguna. Ugh, even my sword is no match against hers. She's too.. powerful." said Seth, who was having a hard time to breathe properly already due to his exhaustion.
"Are you two done with your murmurs? Whose blood shall my Heian taste next?" taunt the female knight, who pointed her sword to their direction. Her weapon was still freshly bathed with Seth's blood.
"You're really decided to kill us, Alekszandre?" Raguna stood up with his head bowing down. "You're going to kill a friend?"
"I do not have time for this useless banter, Lord Knight. If you are so angry that I almost killed the Rune Slayer, let your sword speak than your mouth."
"... Seth. I'll teleport you back to camp."
"You're crazy! You can't face her alone! You'll need me and Lorenze!"
"You're wounded. You barely can lift Lorenze. Krasnaya and I can do this."
Raguna snapped his fingers and a warm blue light surrounded Seth, who failed to react in time as he vanished from the battlefield.
The Lord Knight walked towards the female knight's direction and pointed his Krasnaya towards her direction. There he saw a former comrade, and former knight and a former friend succumbing to the evils of the dark blade Heian... and her demon lineage. As he stood steps away in front of Alekszandre, he can barely recognize the girl... who was once the best Infinity Sword among their ranks.
Now, the facade that Aleks now wears is a sadistic, evil, and broken smile.
"Shall we begin the bloody carnival, Lord Knight?"
