Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.

AU where Husk did win Angel back when he was an Overlord, and they had the whole slowburn friends to lovers to basically married thing. but Husk is still a gambling addict, betting things and casinos and souls he shouldn't, until one day he adds Angel to the pot and loses

and he tries everything to get him back, offering the winner every casino and soul he owns for Angel, eventually offering his own soul just to nullify Angel's contract. but the winner refuses.

Angel ends up back in Valentino's hands within a month and doesn't see Husk again until Alastor summons him to the Hotel
