Oliver and Company - Is your muse more street smart or book smart?

Neither really. She grew up pretty sheltered and is a trust fund baby. She had no need to be either book or street smart. She would never survive the streets though but did pretty well in school so I’d have to go with book smart.

The Jungle Book - Is your muse happy living off of the bare necessities, or do they need more in life?

Daisy could never live off the bare necessities. She’s been pampered far too much in her life to live anything other than a luxurious lifestyle.

“Why, pink and baby blue of course! Then I would do everything in my power to have the color restored!”

“Oh my god, thank you so much!” Diana said with a smile. She seemed to finally have run into someone with taste. Yes, she knew it was a picnic and it was pride, but it just looked like everyone threw on whatever they had that was most colorful. “I got them at that little boutique not too far from here,” she said, waving her hand a bit to motion in what she assumed was the direction of the store. “They’ve always got such amazing shoes over there.” She looked the other woman over. “And look at you; I love your whole look and those shoes are to die for.” Yes, she had Joy she could talk to about fashion stuff, but she didn’t think she got it; not like this woman seemed to. “I’m Diana, by the way.”

“Oh, you have to give me the name of the place. I couldn’t bear not having a look at what other great things they have there. Purple is my favorite color. I can never have enough purple things. Though I sported for a more...colorful look today.” Daisy put a hand to her chest and smiled. “Well, thank you. I ordered them online actually,” she said. “Well, nice to meet you Diana. I’m Daisy.”

Daisy was always down for a good time. And she loved a nice picnic and a fun parade! For once she came alone though, not sure if any of her friends would have wanted to go. She was sure Minnie would have said yes but she didn’t always have to have her best friend beside her. She was grabbing a drink when she spotted a pair of feet with the cutest purple shoes she had ever seen in her life. She approached the person and tapped them on the shoulder. “Where ever did you get those shoes? I just LOVE them. And they’re proper footwear for an event like this. I adore it.”

“Even the wilted ones. Are you trying to tell me you wouldn’t enjoy admiring some flowers from a love? Because I will call you on that bull right now. You would adore flowers in the millions sent to you, even if they were to wilt.” Minnie added with a little laugh, shaking her head. “Oh? I may?” Her smile growing. “Just like flowers, we’ve blossomed into our types of beauty. Beauty that needs to be drowned in a latte though before I fall over.” 

“Okay, you’ve got me there. You know I would love that.” Daisy sighed. “Now I wish someone send me flowers...” She trailed off for a moment but was brought back to reality when Minnie spoke again. “Ditto. I can’t function without coffee in the morning and I can’t sleep without wine at night.”

“Yo, miss,” Smee shouted down the street. He wasn’t a good samaritan by any means but he wasn’t sure what a single earring was going to get him at a pawn shop, and if she was as hot as she seemed from behind, he could have done better by reuniting her with the tiny shiny thing than he could have made off with if he’d run away with it. He held the earring up and waved, shouting again. “You lose something?” || @daiisyymaee​

When Daisy heard someone calling out she stopped in her tracks and turned around to see if it was directed towards her. When she realized it was and then realized she’d lost one of her earrings her hand bolted up to her ear in some hopes that it was there. “Oh my gosh! That’s totally mine!” She walked over to the boy. “My beautiful diamond that I just got. I’d be lost without it! Thank you so much.”

Minnie laughed softly under her breath before shaking her head. Maybe even rolling her eyes just slightly. “You know the most beautiful things can be found in such small spaces. Each flower, it stands out on it’s own despite having to be just one thing. A bunch of flowers, yet each can capture it’s own light.” Looking towards Daisy she smiled warmly. “Don’t worry though darling, non hold a candle to your petals.” Daisy may have been the opposite of Minnie at times, but that’s what drew her so closely to her best friend. 

“Flowers are beautiful, yes, but not when they’re wilted. Each flower is unique though, I suppose you’re right. There is beauty in everything.” She took a sip of her tea then looked back up at the painting. “It’s hard to compare to me, it’s true.” She turns to her friend and smiles. “You may rival me though.”

Minnie hummed softly to herself as she looked at the painting that hung within her favorite coffee shop. “Do you ever wonder how others looking at artwork? It’s true that it speaks different to everyone that sees it. And well, how that is taken within yourself tends to truly speak on your own self. What do you think of this one?” She asked looking at the simple paining of a vase filled with flowers.  Maybe she had just read too deeply into it, but a small smile still graced her features. 

Daisy enjoyed spending time with her best friend, even if it was just getting a cup of coffee. Even if the coffee was...subpar. Daisy’s tastes were much more expensive. She had opted for some tea instead. She looked up from her mug to the painting on the wall Minnie was talking about. “I think it’s plain and was likely bought from the home decor section at target. It’s not an original.”

Now there weren’t many people that could actually truly impress Claudette, but standing right besides her happened to be one of the few islanders she actually looked up to. Not because of Daisy’s personality or anything, that she could do a bit without, but because of her standing on the island - her status meaning so much more to Claudia than anything else. “Absolutely,” she agreed with a smile. “And it really is just the perfect shade too.”

Daisy smiled brightly but a hint of a smirk was evident. “I’m glad you agree. It’s like a lavender, which is one of the best shades of purple. The tricky part is going to be finding a skirt to match with it. I have a pair of boots that would go great with it and diamond bracelet with amethysts but without the proper skirt...it’s just no good.”

“Oh, goodie!” Daisy exclaims as she finds the cutest top in the boutique she was shopping in. It was only one of the best in town and the price tags definitely reflected that. She turns to the person looking at the rack next to the one she was at. “Don’t you agree this is just the perfect top for me? Purple really is my color, after all.”

|| Get to know DAISY MAE DUKE who’s THIRTY-THREE years old and an HEIRESS in town. She is from CORONA and is often times mistaken for ANNIE MURPHY while others say she reminds them of DAISY from THE DISNEY CLASSICS. ||

Daisy Mae Duke is one of the original it girls on the island. In fact, she might as well have wrote the book on how to be iconic! She is a member of one of the wealthiest families in America, originating in Corona. Her family owns ones of the most lavish wineries to ever exist and Daisy had been pampered her entire life. The world’s resources at her fingertips, and she did take advantage of them. But at the same time she chose to go down the path she wanted, which was being famous for being famous! She loves having the latest fashion, the best hair, and having the most iconic catchphrases. She has been in a few scandals over the years, but she doesn’t care! A little spice here and there goes a long way. Every icon on the island learned from her in one way or another. She can act, she can dance, she can style! She is a woman of many talents and many images.

But does anyone know the real Daisy? At first the woman is sweet and friendly to most everyone and often very selfless. Sure, there are times where she’s over the top egotistical but, for the most part, she is almost always talking about someone else and asking them questions about their interests. Daisy does have another side, though. If you cross her or one of her friends, she will go on the defense. And, well, she can be a bit judgmental without really realizing it. But, overall, a sweet thing! She is trying to be a bit more humble and let new people into her circle, but it’s a little hard sometimes. Especially when she is such a gossip!
