I think that "Andor is a show about the stupid, pointless, and unremembered deaths that happen in service of a rebellion and Vel and Cinta are not treated any differently than say, Brasso and Talia" and "It's shitty that specifically the only queer relationship got significantly less screen time than other straight relationships before being killed off" are both true.

In a vacuum, looking solely at the show itself, Cinta's death is perfectly tragic and on-theme, but when looking at the surrounding context of the lack of representation in media and especially in Star Wars, her dying minutes after their first on-screen kiss is at best in poor taste.
