Rose loves her sisters more than anyone else in the world and tbh, I feel like she would have followed them to the ends of the earth!!! As I was saying to Kate AA, I do think that Rose is a little protective of them, as a result, but not nearly as much as I suspect Violet is??

It sounds like it was Rose's idea to have the Hawthorne girls join up with FV? And that seems v much on brand -- I feel like she can be impulsive and adventurous, but she's also obsessed with stories from the past and I think that there was much to explore in FV's history to keep her occupied for ages, haha.

But she's also very committed to making sure that her sisters enjoy this life as much as she does!! Not only because she convinced them to come, but also because she really doesn't want them to quit/their little family to ever split up! Rose definitely takes it upon herself to make sure that their tent always gets set up comfortably each time they settle into a new location, and she doesn't like to cut corners w/ this even if it IS tedious to pack and unpack as frequently as they do! But I just image the Hawthornes tent to be one of the coziest at the circus with lots of soft pillows and blankets and their books and tea and idk I feel like they might have a cat, too???

I was also telling Kate AA that I feel like Rose's healing traits have also come in handy considering that the girls are aerialists and I feel like they have all seen their share of injuries!

so i def think as soon as rose came to daisy & violet with this idea, daisy was def on board! i know we all haven't figured out exactly what situation they were leaving from but i imagine whatever it was did not allow them a ton of freedom, honestly? so joining up with the circus and having some more freedom and some new adventures would've been something daisy would be super excited about!

omg i love the idea they have the coziest tent! <3 and a cat! i love that! i'm still trying to figure out daisy, honestly, but I think she might pick up on the whole vibe that rose doesn't want the three of them to separate? and i DO think Daisy is a bit of a people pleaser so she'd definitely play into that-- even if she maybe has aspirations to do something that would mean they separate? (idk if that's even a thing, im still not sure exactly WHAT daisy wants, haha)

but i def think right now she's very happy with their lives! it has to be much more exciting than anything they were doing before AND just the gratification from being a performer? That's an added perk!

francis is v fond of daisy!! she's bright and fun, and these are some of the (many) qualities he loves in humans!! i def think he's got that yknow homeric line of like the gods envy us ~bc we are mortal you'll never be here again, you'll never be so beautiful etc sort of bug where he's like entranced ~by the finite in and of itself -- everything is more precious for a mortal kinda thing, and i feel like daisy maybe sort of...embodies a lot of those virtues for him yknow? anyway i def think he has high hopes for her!!

so still noodling on daisy obviously but i def think she knows NO stranger and potentially wouldn't be one who would take the hint of 'i'm staying in my tent alone because i don't really want to interact w/ people much' and just come bursting in with something to tell francis or hoping he'll show her something fantastic he's working on! i think she's maybe got a bit of a green thumb and obviously they can't really have a garden being transient sort of people, but i do think she'd be the sort who would show up with flowers to 'decorate' in his tent or something very innocent but also very genuine, y'know? like he doesn't get out much-- she'll bring the world inside!

i also think she probably is just in awe of his clockwork creations! i doubt shes ever seen anything like them and probably wants to figure out what LITERALLY makes them tick, haha, so she's definitely pestering him with questions of requesting which ones make appearances!

so this might be a question for lauren but do you imagine that the mortals at the circus know he and alastor are 'immortal' beings... or just that they're in possession of magic that allows the circus to operate in the way that it does? bc i think daisy takes everything at face value so she's not really going to be thinking 'this is an immortal being who's in some sort of game with his buddy you're now a part of!' but just going to think he's an eccentric guy who has some magic and has had a hand in creating this fantastic world daisy gets to be a part of now! also! their cards combined! The combination of The Hermit and The Sun Tarot cards signifies a time of spiritual enlightenment and self-discovery. This card combination suggests that the seeker needs to take time for introspection and reflection, focusing on their inner self, and seeking guidance from within. The Hermit represents the journey towards enlightenment, while The Sun symbolizes the joy and success that comes with reaching that state of being. So even tho i don't exactly know WHAT it is that i think daisy is either searching for/trying to hide/maybe both... it feels like there is the potential Francis might help her on the path to find that? I mean at the very least, he allowed she and her sisters to join the circus so that was definitely a step for her in figuring out who she is (which i guess i need to figure out first, haha, or maybe daisy and i will go on this adventure together?!)

I feel like Helena would honestly love Daisy??? I think her openness/liveliness and just general spark sounds like it is pretty infectious and Helena does adore having a good time and loves to laugh/can be very charming and witty. Helena is also rather materialistic and can be sorta stingy with what she does have, but I can see where she sorta has a soft spot for the young girls at the circus and may even have indulged to spoil Daisy a bit from time to time with new ribbons for her costumes or something sweet like some chocolates, but maybe even things a bit more expensive like jewelry on special occasions.

That being said, whatever their relationship might have been, I do know that the scandal with Helena and Quentin has sort of divided the circus a bit, and a lot of people have taken sides and I do think that Helena has seen a lot of her relationships suffer for it! She is still friends with Rose, for what it's worth? So yeah! IDK how Daisy would have viewed Helena's attempts at friendship when they first met and then, now, after the fallout?

soooo i'm still noodling around exactly WHO daisy is honestly... so things might shift a bit BUT I definitely think daisy is the sort of person who knows no stranger and is VERY much a people pleaser and is just generally positive and happy. daisy wants to make people happy, wants to be around people who are bright and fun, so she would definitely gravitate towards someone like helena who wants to laugh and have fun! and i think that if helena were to give her little gifts daisy would be SO delighted! i definitely think she'd see helena as this very glamorous person and would be flattered in a way okay soooo... I'm sort of just assuming the affair business happened before the hawthornes joined up? daisy is not the sort who would dwell on past things-- especially if they didn't affect her-- so, honestly, probably most of that sort of just went in one ear and out the other when she heard about it? not saying that helena is a bad influence or anything of the sort, but i do think daisy doesn't necessarily consider the negatives when dealing with people... so she's latched on the positive things about helena and that's sort of all she sees! EDITED TO ADD! I just straight up didn't think to look this up haha! So their cards together: The Sun and The Judgment together form a Tarot card combination that suggests a period of significant inner growth, transformation, and spiritual awakening. SISSSSSTTERRRRR!!!!!! our girl violet is all! about! her siblings <333333 i defffff think ngl that she maybe has a tendency to spoil daisy a bit tho!!!!!! daisy is baby!!!!!!! do not mess w baby!!!!! lkadjsflkjkdsjf she's def someone whose caught in this kinda dissonant...eldest sister vs chaotic moon vortex situation so she's got a big head vs heart paradigm, but i think daisy being the baby of the family allows her to indulge both daisy ~and her own feelings a bit all in one go ajsdfjsdf i do also imagine that daisy, rose, violet, and julian, all being aerialists, probs work together quite a bit too and honestly i think those're better days for violet than when daisy's up there wo her bc i think all fear leaves violet when she's sailing through the air but if she's looking up at daisy she's like SHE! MIGHT! FALL! lkajsdflkjsdf tho i feel like she maybe tries to pretend all she feels is sublime confidence bc she feels this is more helpful than showing those fears lakdsjflkjsdfjds

yay sisters! <3 okay so forgive me because I MIGHT be ramblings here bc i was trying to do some character work on ms daisy here tonight and found myself a little... stuck? so idek if i'm committed to the things i'm about to say but i feel like she's def gonna be one of those characters that sort of comes to me as i work through her relationships w/ other people!! ANYWAY daisy ALSO loves her sisters dearly! clearly there's a sort of 'one for all, all for one!' thing going on w/ them since they all literally ran off and joined the circus together! <3 I def could see where she IS probably a bit spoiled because she IS the baby and I am sort of seeing daisy as so overly happy and positive and joyful to be around it might be one of those situations where daisy hasn't heard "no" very often just because people don't necessarily want to dampen her light or anything?? like i'm imagining she projects this innocence and still has that childlike wonder about the world that other people may have lost, so there's this weird desire for that NOT to be stifled out in her? if i'm making ANY sense?

idk if you've given much thought to their family background yet (and of course we will want lizzy's input on this, too!) but i think there was some mention of family debt in violet's bio? so they probably weren't necessarily the most well off and pr were w/o their parents when they joined up with the circus?? obvs that'll have some affect on thing but i do imagine daisy was maybe largely spared from a lot of the hardships? I think all that + what i said above is sort of leading to daisy is generally pretty sheltered and its almost to her detriment bc combining that with sort of a people pleasing attitude i ALSO sort of invision her having-- just wanting everyone ELSE to be happy and bright, like her!-- could def lead to her being pretty easily manipulated should someone say the right things? again idek if i'm making sense or even gonna stick with all of this KATE I'M SORRY YOU'RE MY SOUNDING BOARD! <3

i love all of them getting to be up in the air together! <3 i def think daisy probably lovingly rolls her eyes at her sister if she looks worried about her falling!! idek if this means anything but part of me was actually thinking that when she agreed to train in the trapeze... daisy was scared of heights?! and that was a secret she'd never really told anyone (bc i don't think she talks much, if ever, about her own problems! she's just ALWAYS. OPTIMISTIC! no matter what!) but she didn't want to complain or cause a fuss and be w/ her sisters so... she did it! and now she's not scared and people love her, so everything worked out for the best! i think deep down behind the bright and cheerful persona daisy is a lot of things she doesn't want to admit-- unsettled I'm sorry i'm not sure if any of this made any sense whatsoever but i'm excited for this little family! <3
