Riddle had never concerned himself with love, mainly because he never really had the time to do so. But now with him being in Night Raven, Riddle has a lot more freedom and suffice to say, once he does fall for someone he falls hard and it takes him a while to realize this. He can't explain his ecstatic heartbeat, he can't explain his constantly red face whenever s/o is near. He is at a complete loss and the poor boy just had no idea what to do.
He will be a lot sweeter and kinder to his s/o though compared to others and it will show. By all accounts Riddle IS a great dorm leader but he just spends so much time with s/o, be it by studying, walking to class and everything inbetween people will notice Riddle's shfit in behavior. Of course he will be bombarded with questions later by Trey and Cater but Riddle will deny his ever growing feelings for s/o even more. He just tells them, and himself, that he just likes being in their company, that they are fun to talk to... But Trey and Cater know better~!
Riddle shall also become increasingly protective over his s/o and he will constantly ask them if they are having any problems, be it in school or if any students are giving them trouble. Messing with s/o is messing with him and whoever dares to lay a hand on s/o shall be dealt with accordingly.
One of his favorite activites to do with his s/o is to drink tea and eat homemade sweets. It's his ideal date really, just the two of them with no one else near. Other Heartslabyul residents notice that Riddle is a lot more happy and tolerant when s/o is near so they will probably downright beg s/o to be close to Riddle all day, every day, just to keep him happy. s/o just possess this ability to calm Riddle down almost immediately and it's just a blessing.
Riddle is also super attentive, never letting his s/o get sick or get a bad grade. He is always ready to lend a hand no matter what the situation. But despite all that, Riddle does need gentle reminders from time to time that he is loved and that he deserves to be loved. He has his breaking points and when dark days come, Riddle can always count on his s/o to be there for him.
Trey would be a pretty chill but cool boyfriend. He can read his s/o like a book and he is always by their side no matter what. He sometimes act more like an older brother rather then a boyfriend but his feverish kisses are more then enough to remind his s/o (or anyone close for thst matter) that his feelings are indeed not platonic.
He also has a teasing side as well, always telling his s/o to do one thing but later telling them that he lied. He just finds it so cute that they believe him so blindly, it's just adorable. He also isn't very overbearing, he knows when he needs to give his s/o space and when he should step in and help. Evdn then he can't help but to fell a bit guilty for not doing anything but if s/o tells him to stop, he will.
One of his favorite ways to surprise his s/o though is by baking them sweets. Nothing makes him smile more then seeing his darling getting all happy and jumpy once he gives them a full plate of strawberry tarts. He also really loves it when s/o joins in and helps him cook, it is always so much more fun then. By using his mahic, he even rewrites some flavours of the sweets that they made if s/o asked him, no matter how weird. Trey and s/o have most likely tricked someone by doing this, presenting them a tart but the tart ended up tasing like oysters.
It was so hard to write for Trey I cannot even.
Ah, Cater is such an affectionate boyfriend! He always has an arm slung around s/o's shoulder and he has taken countless pitcures of them. Many of his favorites even get uploaded to Magicam and he always puts the cheesiest and corniest hashtags anyone has ever seen but it's all in good fun. His s/o is most likely his wallpaper for his phone as well.
The two most likely just goof off in class and many of the staff are annoyed with Cater and s/o's behavior but they never really stop. They throw notes and paper air planes at each other, cheat sheets, sweet love letters, the whole bunch! And if Cater and s/o aren't in the same class, they will probably be texting each other at some point in the day.
Bonus points if Cater's s/o is younger then him! He will always tease them and tell them to call him "Cater-senpai" and he will remind them ever so often that they are his cute littlw junior. He's just a sucker for those sorts of things. Also, café dates! He loves just strolling around with his s/o but if there is a cute café near they will most definetly go there. Of course, no date is complete without Cater taking a picture of his s/o and their drinks. Fun memories were made on those dates!
Ace is such a hothead, he sometimes wonders how and why s/o fell for him but he treasures them greatly. He can be so sweet at times that it feels like your teeth might fall out! He loves cuddling with s/o and if he feels like it he will hug them in public, he does not care. He might get a bit defensive about it though, saying that he was just bored or something like that but you know he doesn't mean it and later he will admit it out loud.
He is not afraid of standing up to anyone and he will take a stand for his s/o, no one gets to mess with them! He can be quite protective (not as nearly as Riddle or Deuce though!) but he will pick a fight if need be. His s/o will also probably have to stop him from certain shenanigans and if he didn't have his s/o he would be in hell of a lot more trouble!
He can of course be a bit mean too, saying things he really shouldn't and he always knows just what buttons to push. Fights between him and his s/o are intense and there will be a lot of shouting and they might not speak to each other for a few weeks. But they both will calm down after a while, come to their senses and aplogize.
Forget what I said about Trey, ACE WAS HARDER TO WRITE FOR-
Deuce always tries to be the perfect gentleman! Holding the door open for his darling, helping them clean or carry their books, anything really! He can't help but to smile whenever they are around and he will be in such a good mood too! No matter how many times he sees his s/o, butterflies will appear in his stomach and he swears that he always forgets how to breathe for a few moments. They just hold that power over him, they make his heart melt on a daily basis without even trying. Let's be real, he probably talks about s/o whenever he is with his mother and from his stories, his mother supports their relationship greatly.
Deuce and s/o often study together and he always tries his best. He might end up failing half of the time but Deuce always picks himself back up and tries again.
He also never fails to make his s/o laugh with that serious expression of his. He often says (and does!) the most ridiculous things with this stern look on his face which is just priceless. And when s/o starts to laugh he gets flustered which only adds to his cuteness. But please keep in mind, Deuce does indeed have a dark side and he is extremely protective of his s/o. If anyone even looked at them the wrong way, his bsd boy side would resurface immediately. Anyone with half a brain knows not to pick a fight with him, his punches hurt like Hell. If I were to ever make a list of who is the most overprotective, Deuce would be right behind Riddle. If something were to happen to his s/o, he would never be able to forgive himself.
He wants to be their knight in shining armour, their emotional rock. He... He just wants s/o to know that he loves them wholeheartedly and that they mean the world to him.
