There wasn’t much to see. Some trampled foliage, lots of dirt, patches of wild grass – and a VTOL parked right in the middle of it all. Dorothea had come a ways to find this place, though, so she hoped its owner was inside.

She tried to ignore the fact that it was definitely an Overwatch VTOL. What if this guy wasn’t friendly to Overwatch? Would she have to hide her affiliation with them? She wasn’t very good at lying on the spot…

She steadied herself. Just do it, Dorothea. Worst case scenario, she’d just have to signal for help and run away.

She trekked through some shrubbery to get to the VTOL with a slight tremor in her legs. Dorothea gently rapped her knuckles against it.

“ H-Hello? Anyone… Home? I’m looking for, uh… Shade? ”

These things were surprisingly roomy, and very easy to fly. With the little training he had piloting a hoverchopper, Simo was surprised to find out the controls were even easier than that. But all that constant time in the air can’t be good for you, even if you’re more machine than a man. And so, every once in a while, he’d land the massive craft out in a clearing. But the one thing he didn’t expect was a visitor. The knocking and muffled speech caught him off-guard, and he’d instinctively drawn his pistol. He’d check the outboard cameras to find a woman, all alone - flowers in her hair, timid expression. If this was some sort of a trap, it wasn’t a very good one. Tapping a few buttons on the touchpad, the hatch opens with a hiss of steam, followed by a snap of metal as his aim trained itself on her forehead. “Who do you work for? Who sent you?”

"A-Ah!" she squeaks, jumping back. She'd expected this, and yet it still alarmed her. She took a deep breath and sized him up.

He couldn't have been much older than she was -- but one could never be sure. The gun in his hands was very distracting, otherwise. He would've been sort of handsome if she wasn't so alarmed.

"My name is... My name is Dorothea Falkner. I-I want to help! I... Heard that you would be a good person to go to. Please hear me out. I-I don't want to hurt anybody."
